Scorch was carrying a bird by its wings. She set it down in front of her and began to munch on the feathered creature's meat. The bird wasn't very that big and Scorch was still hungry after she had devoured it. She would soon go out to hunt again but for now the reddish brown she-cat began to groom her pelt. Scorch then caught a cat scent.
"Show yourself!" She growled

Joey grinned as he watched the other car from a distance. They had caught a bird and eaten it and their fur was a reddish brown colour. That's all that the young cat managed to pick up about the stranger. His ears pricked up and he tried to hide himself further in the shadows when he saw that the other cat had picked up his scent.
At the sound of a voice, Joey's ears pricked up and rather than walking out slowly and saying his name, the black and white tom raced out of his hiding spot and aimed to swipe the remaining feathers of the bird.

Scorch stared as a paw swiped the remainders of her meal.
"Hey! That's mine!" The reddish brown feline hissed flattening her ears. "Give those feathers back or else you'll be crowfood." Scorch was starting to dislike this cat. The reddish brown she-cat waited for a response.

Joey shook his head quickly as he continued to stay silent, string the other cat in the eyes for maybe a second before leaping away from his position, heading towards his hideout but trying to take a long route so he wouldn't accidentally lead her there. His ears flattened as he let out a loud and short meow.
