"Mhm," she nodded. She watched, curious, as the tom carried it out of the den before coming back. "Oh, thanks!" she mewed, nodding her head quickly in appreciation.

"No problem! Though I think... I think the red circle went with it." He frowned for a moment, but then quickly brightened up. 'It's gonna have a great time on that flower. I don't need to worry about it.' He yawned. "You wanna do something else?"

She looked surprised, turning quickly in circles, her eyes on the ground so she could look for it. It was gone. She frowned, but then smiled. It was probably happy!

"Sure," she squeaked, running to the exit of the nursery. "Want to play with the leaves?" she asked, grabbing one and throwing it up in the air. She watched it fall, then caught it, rolling on the ground as she tussled with it.

"Sure!" He chirped, following behind. He giggled, watching her fight the leaf. 'I wanna try!' Windkit thought, racing over to a large, yellow-brown leaf. He tossed it up into the air, but wasn't prepared to catch it, so it just floated back down and settled on his face. 'I can't see!' "Help!"

She'd been busy ripping into the large leaf with her small, sharp claws when Windkit squeaked for help. She giggled, running over to grab it off his face. The huge leaf hung out of her mouth and she quickly dropped it, a musty taste settling on her tongue. She laughed again, incredibly amused. "That was... hilarious!" she squeaked.

Windkit had his eyes shut tight and was standing on the edges of his paws. Who knew leaves could be so mean? He blinked his eyes open when she dragged the leaf off of him, smiling at the sight of it on the ground. He stuck his tongue out at her when she laughed. "It was scary!"

She smiled again, giggling loudly. She had to regain her breath a moment later because of how funny it was. She stuck her pink tongue out at him when he stuck his out at her. "I'm sure you'll have nightmares!" she squeaked, though she was just messing with him.

Windkit lifted his head high in the air. He tried pretending to be angry, though he wasn't a very good actor so a big smile slipped through. "Oh yeah? Well if I do, I'm gonna wake you right up! Then you won't get any sleep, and you'll regret ever laughing at me!"

She gasped, feigning dread, though still smiling. "Oh no, that's so evil!" she squeaked, tossing a leaf at him and running off, her tiny paws flinging up a ton of leaves in his face as she ran around the camp. "Catch me if ya can, slowpoke!" she taunted playfully, sticking her tongue out again.

"Ah!" He squeaked when the leaf was thrown at him, and was about to say something until she took off. He raced behind, unable to control his fits of giggling. "You're the slowpoke!" He yowled, though he was still a great amount of tail-lengths behind. 'I'll catch up, she'll see!'

She peered quickly behind her, laughing loudly while speeding around the camp. She skidded to a stop, waiting for him to catch up and once he was close enough, she sped off to the left, hoping to trick him.

'Ha!' Windkit thought to himself, 'I'm finally catching up!' With a burst of energy he quickened his pace, about to reach Deerkit until she sped off to the left. 'Oh no!' He tried to turn and chase after her again, but he was already going so fast that he ended up tripping over his paws. He fell on his side, landing with a thud. "No fair, you're too fast!"

She skidded to a halt when she heard a loud "thump" behind her. Whipping around, she trotted toward the young tom. "My bad," she squeaked, plopping herself next to him with her tail swishing erratically behind her from all the excitement.

She panted lightly, a tad short of breath. "Want to go get a drink of water?" she asked with a curious tilt of her head. She'd heard there was a small pool near the inside of the camp next to the exit. Maybe they could find some more things like the red circle to look at, too!

Windkit hopped to his paws with a cough, then shook out his fur to get the dust off. He looked at her and grinned. "I'll get you next time!"

He nodded vigorously when she offered some water. "Lead the way!" He squeaked, starting to hop around her. He couldn't remember seeing any puddles, so he hoped she knew the way to one.
