Redfern yawned as she climbed to the leader's place above the clan. She was honestly getting too old to be doing such things so often. Or, perhaps that was what she told herself to be lazy. She cleared her throat and looked down upon the gathered cats.

Whitepaw, you are dedicated and have a cute, white chin. It is time for you to become a warrior. I name you Whitejaw. Do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?
( Wait for response of "I do". )
Then I commend you to CloudClan, to become a warrior.

Whitepaw's black ears pricked when Redfern called his name- they were standing up above the clan where ceremonies were, the red tabby had also done the previous one, meaning that this must mean he was getting his warrior name! His piercing blue eyes lit up as he spoke, "I do," He grinned, purring loudly when he was given his new name: 'Whitejaw'.

Wow... he was a warrior already- it seemed like only yesterday he was bugging his brother to play with him in the nursery, and now he had received the name that he would probably own his entire life and he had also already been given an apprentice! Trying to contain his happiness, Whitejaw turned his head towards the newly named Windpaw, offering them a smile as he moved a step closer to him.

[Echopaw]

Echo was pretty sure her pretending she was an experienced car, and refusing to stray from Windkit'snside was the only reason she wasn't rocketing off the walls right now. Certainly it's a good thing she's a great actress. However, no amount of acting could keep the grin off her face as her friend is named Windpaw and given as an apprentice to the newly named warrior. Echo offers a happy purr to her friend. "Congrats Windpaw!" She mews, adding a little giggle at the end as she nudges him off toward his mentor who seems to be also the nervously approaching.

And then it's her turn. Of course, it doesn't help to now be standing all alone, yet she peers up at the warrior happily, tail tip twitching slightly in excitement. She isn't really sure who this cat is, but she's pretty sure they're not the deputy or leader, for she's heard about both of them. Perhaps she's an incredibly important warrior, she decides. The second her mentor is named, the child can't contain her excitement anymore, in fact, she thrills a purr and bounds over to the warrior in order to offer her what's probably the happiest grin she'll ever see in her life. And then she forces herself calm again. Sort of. "Hello! I will promise to try my best to be a good apprentice" She offers, her words actually quite sincere as she peers up at Dapplecloud, unsure what else to do in this moment.

"Whitejaw!" I cheered for the newly named warrior. I was proud of him and also amused he had a name that befitted his pelt color: only his chin was white. However, I was a bit surprised to be receiving another apprentice so soon. I guessed it was the smaller tabby she-cat staring up at me. "Hello! I will promise to try my best to be a good apprentice." the apprentice chirped, and I nodded encouragingly.
"Good sentiment. I'm sure you'll do great and be a warrior just like Whitejaw over there soon enough." I purred. "We'll start with a territory tour tomorrow. If we're lucky, we might start on hunting." I flicked my tail to show I had ended my sentence, and looked forward to apprenticing another eager young cat once more.

Windpaw's eyes lit up as Whitejaw was named a warrior. He was so big! 'I wanna be like him someday.' Then, as if Redfern had read his mind, his name was called next. 'He's gonna be my mentor? Oh, wow!' He thought in surprise, stumbling forward when his friend nudged him. He then happily skipped over to Whitejaw, a big grin on his muzzle as he reached up to touch noses.

Once ceremonies were done, Windpaw raced over to Echopaw and gave her a boop on the nose. "Congrats to you too, Echopaw! I'm so happy we're apprentices together!"

"Whitejaw! Windpaw! Echopaw!" Hailspirit cheered loudly, a warm purr erupting from her throat. One of her kits had finally become a warrior. 'And assigned an apprentice, too! I know he'll do well.' She thought with a smile, trotting up to him once ceremonies were over. "Congrats, Whitejaw!"
