Goldenpaw groaned loudly. He was bored. Really bored. Sure, he'd found a bunch of spiders and stuck them in the new apprentice's nests... That was pretty funny. Especially with that loud, temperamental she-cat who had possibly the most ill-fitting or cleverest name every given to a cat.
But asides from his occasional tricks? There was nothing to do. He was debating on asking a cat to train him, seeing as he lacked a mentor that actually did their job at the moment, but he was unaware of which warriors were available and willing. Sure, he could go around asking... But he didn't want to seem like an idiot if they rejected him harshly. He didn't want any cat to watch that. So, for now... He was groaning as he lay on his back next to the fresh-kill pile.

BrightPaw padded softly towards the freshkill pile with a mouse she had been able to take down meer moments before. She smiled as a golden hued tabby groaned in what she could tell boaredum. With let out a small purr. "Mind if I join you?" She flicked her white and ginger patched tail to a spot next to the young male with glittering eyes. She hand't met this one from what she could remember but oh how she would love to make a friend.

Goldenpaw watched as a white furred she-cat with ginger patches approached. She appeared to be an apprentice as well. He put on a cocky grin as she approached. She asked to join him. He shrugged. "I ain't stopping you, Patches." He meowed, spontaneously sticking a nickname onto the cat he'd just met.

She smiled as he tried to play cool? if thats what he was going for even, she really couldn't tell. "Why thank you Blondie" sitting down with eyes dancing with amusment, she purred. "Now that we both got names I guess I'm not going to have to ask for your real one." Once settled she licked her right leg gentaly for a moment then turned her attention to the young male. "How is your training going?"

Goldenpaw snorted at the nickname. Seems Patches was perfectly fine with nicknames, neglecting to tell him her true name. Thank God, this gal had a sense of humor. "Slow as heck!" He declared dramatically, flailing his limbs as he lay on his back. "Though, I heard some lady named Lacaciaaight is supposed to be my new mentor." Then he had a smirk on his face. "Cooouuuld've gotten the name wrong, though."

"Well that's unfurotnate but I guess we are in the same boat then" purring she looked the golden cat up and down amused as he seemed to draw out words. "Maybe I couldn't say, I don't recal anyone of that sort of name. I'm sure a new mentor at all will help though. No?"

Goldenpaw stuck his tongue out at the sky. "Welcome to the worst boat ever." He replied sarcastically. He let out a long, deep, dramatic sigh. "Or my new mentor could be dropping be down in the negatives."

"Well I guess I would rather be in a boat than swimming" she couldn't help but smile. She shrugged "Well I guess that too, hopefully that's not how it will play out" nudging the feline on the shoulder she grinned "On the bright side I might become a warrior before you" she teased

Goldenpaw had no idea what Brightpaw meant by that, but he gave a smirk anyways. "Well, there's always hope, isn't there...." He replied quietly. Then he arched an eyebrow. "Really? You? No way." He snorted. "I'm getting there first."

She nodded, "Yup there is always hope." Growing much more amused she shrugged "Yes me! alright how about this we get it together? Like our names and all that cool jazz"
