Whitejaw purred as he dropped the mouthful of moss that he had been carrying onto the ground. Alike he had done before with his previous one, the young warrior had decided to make his new nest near the centre of the den, but still close to the entrance. Not only would he be able to get easy access to the den and clearing, but he would also be able to feel the warmth on his sleek pelt in the warmer seasons. He sniffled a little, quite tired from his vigil last night. All Whitejaw wanted to do was sleep.
Not bothering to arrange the green mess he had made, the tall cat dropped onto the floor, snuggling up with his tail, his pink nose buried in his black chest fur. He smiled for a moment... But his happy, relaxed mood was quickly disrupted when he heard another cat near him, making noise. He groaned loudly, opening his blue eyes a crack to look at them with slight irritation.

She was shifting as her ingurys seemed to give off a unpleasant sensation in her current position. As she was moving around she noticed the irritation of another feline and hissed "Don't give me that sass boy," shifting till she was conferrable she then gave the black male her attention. He seemed tired but he had annoyed her and was going to have to face her sharp tongued wrath if he wasn't careful. Who was this kid anyways he looked new and form scent it would seem he was. She squinted her eyes at him, "Must be tough being a Newbie right? well I don't need your attitude kay."

Whitejaw flicked his ear at this other cat's response. He didn't know who this cat was and, to be honest, that attitude made him not want to. He grumbled again with an uncharacteristic frown, "I'm not 'giving you sass', I'd just appreciate it if you'd be quiet," He lashed his long, thin tail, "I'm tired." He stated, bright eyes still staring.
"It's perfectly fine, actually." He said, voice serious, "And I don't need yours either."

She was more than annoyed and pushed offed the brink as he seemed to think it was funny to throw it back. Rolling her eyes to the younger feline she "I can be quite no need for your grumpy expression kid." She sat up slowly careful of avoiding pressure in her leg and slowly settled down again intently staring at the warrior. "Guess I"m a grumpy too, huh." Giving a faint smile she sighed "Whats your name kitty," She gave a wider smile.

Whitejaw yawned as he blinked his bright eyes again twice, trying to keep his focus on the tabby without falling asleep. She seemed to be acting a little kinder than she had before, which he found strange considering how annoyed she had been, but he was thankful nonetheless. "Thank you," He purred, wrapping his long tail around himself and snuggling up to it with a small purr. "You could say that," He said with a light chuckle, burying his nose in his short-ish fur. "I'm Whitejaw," He introduced himself with another long blink.

Knowing that being more social seemed to be the thing with these clans cats. She gave an amused expression as he seemed to be drifting struggling to stay awake as she spoke. "Well thanks for having my back there." She gave a small laugh. "Well it's nice to meet your sleepy self WhiteJaw. I"m Clove."

Whitejaw smiled, purring as he listened silently, "You're welcome," he said as he got comfy in the now warm moss. "S'nice to meet you, too, Clove," He replied quietly, a little confused about why the she-cat didn't have a traditional clan name. However, he decided not to ask about it in case it caused anything negative.

She grinned as he was practically gone. She was a bit happy by the fact he hasn't asked about her name that was always the first reaction of her new clanmates. Though she wasn't sure if this was because he was half dead or just didn't need to know. Grinning she licked her shoulder and asked warmly. " You know I would love to get to know you. Of course this can be before or after you cat nap."

Whitejaw smiled, blue eyes only half open as he replied, "Concersation'll keep me awake," He chuckled, "Go ahead and ask me anything you want," He purred.

She tilted her head not so sure but why not. Grinning she started with. "Do you like your name? I mean your new name?" she wasn't sure why clan cats were so fond of changing there names all the time but it seemed very tied to their tradition it was rather interesting. "Do you think we will end up as friends if I continue to talk you into a deep sleep?" she asked just as a joke making sure he was still up.

Whitejaw nodded, smiling, "Yeah, I love it," He purred, "I actually have a name that makes sense now- being a black furred kit named 'Whitekit' got a little confusing," He chuckled. He grinned slightly at her final question, "I'm sure we will," He laughed quietly, blinking his eyes a few times.

"I can see how that might have confused a few cat." she grinned "Well it suits you, though I don't understand the hardships it took you to get it I'm glad you enjoy such a title" tilted her head she gave a soft purr. "Well that's good to hear" he seemed to be drifting more and more and she smiled. Maybe it was time to wake him up..hmm. "Any lovely she-cats catch your eye?" she gave a smile hoping to make him bashful or even embarrassed.

Whitejaw purred, "It's just something that is supposed to be taken with pride- having a warrior name shows that I was good enough to have Cloudclan accept me as good enough," He smiled, twitching his tail tip as he closed his eyes.
"What? No!" Whitejaw almost shouted, jumping backwards at the question, letting the cold air on his warm fur. He shivered slightly and moved back into the closest position he could to his previous. "No." He said, confirming as his dark rimmed eyes stared at Clove's.

She nodded. "Cloudclan? Your ansesters right?" she grinned more than amused by his reaction. She gave a good hearted laugh "Just pulling your tail," she smiled and added as he said another no. "Positive? no one at all?"

Whitejaw nodded shortly before growling quietly, although it was mostly playful anyway. "Nobody," He continued, "I don't swing that way, lady." He clarified, trying to get cosy again, "Anyone yourself?" He teased back.
