Stormy heard her stomach growl. It had been a few days since she had eaten last, and the hunger pangs were getting unbearable. Her ear flicked as she tried to ignore the pain in her tummy. She heard a noise to her right, and turned her gaze to it. A mouse. Insincivly she dropped into a hunters crouch and crawled towards the creature, she lept off the ground towards the prey. Shaking her head roughly, she stumbled as she landed. What even?!? The mouse forgotten, she sat down and tried to think about what just happened. It had felt so natural until... It wasn't? She groaned in confusion. This didn't make sense! Stormy had no idea how to do what she just did.... A crack in her blind side made her jump and turn around, scanning the area behind her with her good left eye to see what was going on

Melony walked through the forest, comng to a cleaering that opened into the plains eventually, and seeing a cat trying to catch some prey. "I'd offer help, but I'm not sure it would do much good." she said when the other cat seemingly gave up. She hadn;t caught a peice of prey in hher life, and something was funny to her about watching another cat try. "I'm sorry if I did scare you though, I didn't mean to sneak up behind you."

Stormy fixed her sight on another cat, not much bigger than herself. It sounded like a she-cat, and this she-cat also sounded friendly. " no it's okay. I don't really know what I'm doing, so I'm trying to learn." she said with a grin, trying to sound convincing. Her stomach growled again, and Stormy dropped eye contact in embaressment.

Melony nodded. "I can show you if you want, but that would only be from watching other cats hunt." she said, "I've never acctually hunted myself." she ducked her head. While one may tell themselves to at leastt try, she could never stand the thought of killing something just to at it/. She could fight other cats, but not food.

Stormy ducked her head, feeling bashful suddenly. "no it's okay. But thanks for offering" she was kind of embaressed that she couldn't take care of herself? That was odd... She'd think about it later. Right now, she had a social interaction to deal with! " um, we never introduced ourselves. My name is Stormy, what's yours?" she asked, meeting the other cats gaze with interest in her eye.

Mel smiled. "I'm Melony, but you can call me Mel." she said. "Nice to meet your Storm. I haven't seen you around before, are you... new around ehre.

Stormy nodded. She wasn't sure if Mel had just nicknamed her, or if she'd not heard stormy's name right. Whatever, she didn't really care. " yeah, I'm pretty new around here. It's pretty nice though, so I think I might stay." she admitted, sitting down and licking one of her front paws. Birds were chirping, the sun was shining. It was a rather nice, yet chilly day.
