Melony gazed out a t a pudddle and sighed. Was this what her life had become? And if it was, could it, would it ever change? She shook her head and continued walking, as her ussual self, not bothering tto watch where she stepped. A small smile rested on her face to hide any pain in her eyes. She blinked slightly as she heard another cat's footsteps, not bothering to notice whether they were hard or soft, close or far, before turning and walking the other direction.

Sunny wasn't sure where he was going. He sort of... Just kept walking. He felt like something was missing. Well, of course something was missing. His memories. His past. Kittens were a lot smaller than him. He wasn't new to the world. That was for sure. But every time he tried to reach for a memory, it was like they were being yanked further out of his reach. It was... Somewhat frustrating.

He'd spaced out again, as he was walking. When he finally came down to earth, he saw some cat had stopped. But then started walking away. He blinked, stopping in his tracks. Was she trying to move away from him...?

Melony glanced quickly back and stoped when she saw it wasn't acctually someone her brothe sent to track her down. She scorned herself for being to paronoid and walked back, smiling kindly at the other cat. "Hello." she said. "My name is Melony."

Sunny blinked again. The cat came back and was smiling. She seemed nice, so he returned the smile with one as warm as his name would suggest. A thought crossed his mind, like he hadn't smiled like that to a stranger in a very long time. "I'm Sunny."

At the other cat's smile, Melony cchanged her smile to make sure it matched the level of brightness, which was acctually ot hard for her because she had always smiledd like that as a kit. It wasn't acctually until the past months that it had ever been missing. "Sunny," she said, "nice to meet you."

Sunny wasn't sure why, but when he smiled... He could almost feel himself in a different place. Darker, like an enclosed space. But with some light filtering in. It wasn't cramped, it was... Homely. Again, he didn't push the memory. It never really worked. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Melony." He meowed in response, his warm smile coupled with his warm, ocean blue eyes.

Melony nodded, noticing a slight... Sadness?, in Sunny's gaze, but brushed it aside. "What are you doing out here." she asked,, though she couldn't day where "here" was. "You have a scent like... Clan?" she asked cuiously. "It's not quit that though. It's not freash, and Clan cats don't tend to wander past their territory... "

Sunny tilted his head. "What do you mean clan?" He asked. It sounded oh so familiar, but then again... He had no idea what Melony was talking about. Apparently his scent was 'clan-like', despite him having no memory of what that meant. To be fair, he didn't have any memories of things that really mattered to him at present.

Melony tilted her head. 'You don't even know what a clan is? What do you have amnesia?" she asked, looking at Sunny in disbelief for a moment before sighing and shaking her head. "I don't know much about them, but they are basically a big group of cats that livee together. I'm pretty sure there are four, and I'm also pretty sure that they think cagts outsidde the clans are all evil and mean, which isn'ts far from the truth, but is still pretty offensive." she tried to explain, though she truly knew very little of them.

Sunny blinked. "Um... I can't remember much, so I guess I have amnesia." He answered with slight uncertainty in his voice. Though, thankfully Melony began to explain. She explained that there were four clans, and they were essentially a large amount of cats living together. Apparently, they also didn't think highly of cats outside the clans. He frowned. "That... Doesn't seem right." He answered, finally.

Melony tilted her head. "Amnesia. I haven't met someone with that since..." she paused for a moment, "I believe I left there three moons ago." she shrugged. "I'm rather new to the area, so if it doesn''t seem right, that may be because I am a bad sorce of info on an area. Ask someone else and tthe descipition will probbly have about 0 simiilarity."

[Galelight]

Sunny blinked. "Left where...?" He cocked his head. "Oh. You're new? Well, I'm sure you'll gain a strong familiarity with this area soon enough." His voice was true to his name, conveying the encouragement and warmth that always flowed in his voice.

"I don't know. I've moved around all my life so..." she shrugged. "Just someplace far away." She listened carefully to what Sunny said then nodded. "I'm ure I will. Thanks."

Sunny thought about it himself. "Um... I feel like I'm going to stick around this area, maybe. I'd like to make new memories, if I can't recover my old ones."
