Dapplecloud (For Spruceclaw ) I flattened my ears to keep the steady drizzle from falling into them as I pushed my way through the camp entrance. One measly, small sparrow hung from my jaws. Prey was getting harder to find, which was to be expected, but put rain on top of that and it just becomes like leaf-bare: with nary a scent of prey. It would be even harder to train Echopaw in leaf-bare. I dropped the sparrow on the fresh-kill pile and quickly walked to the camp walls, where it was a little out of the rain. I sat down, hunching over slightly. I didn't want to go back into the warriors' den quite yet: it was still before sunhigh, though it was hard to tell because of the rain clouds obscuring the sky. I huffed. Could be worse. However, I straightened up a bit when I saw a familiar cat across the camp. Despite the rain, I got up and walked across to meet him. "Hey" I called.
