Sunpaw was sitting in her nest, grooming her front left white paw. Her plumy tail was curled around her other three. She was really happy she had become an apprentice, and planned to be the best she could.

He was just about out of the den, he had grown rather attached too. His ceremony was just around the corner. He was starting to regret the fact he hadn't done much to meet the newer apprentices. Spotting a feline whom happened to be one of those newbies he smiled. Padding to her side he spoke brightly "Mind if I join you?"

Sunpaw was very much stricken that this older tom cat would approach her and speak to her. She smiled slightly and nodded as he asked to join her.
"Of course you may." She grinned and flicked her plumy tail happily. "What is your name, may I ask?" She purred, beating him to the question he most probably would have asked next.

He smiled, sitting as he was allowed and or invited to do so "Of course you may. Windpaw, you may call me most anything else if you desire" He smiled flicking his left ear before returning the favor. "You miss, what is it you wish to be called?"

Sunpaw smiled. She certainly liked this tom already.
"Well, young sir, since you asked ever so politely I shall answer your question. I am known as Sunpaw, but whatever you wish will otherwise suffice." She purred, blue eyes shining.
She blinked at the quite beautiful markings on his pelt. They were much more prettier than her own golden, russet, and white fur. She tipped her head to Windpaw.
"You are near fully grown, yes?" She asked, noticing the way he held his body confidently and surley, as if he'd been her for a while. She was only a newbie, or as the gladers would say, a greenbean.
(my apologies, I was dying to make a TMR refrence today XD)

"Sunpaw," He tried the name out for him self. "Well isn't that just lovely." Giving a warm smile he noticed she seemed to be giving him a look over and he did so likewise. Her name definitely suited her rather pretty pelt. He chuckled as she commented on his size "That I am, I'm to become a warrior before long." his eyes danced with warm happy emotion. "You are new to the apprenticed role are you not?"

Sunpaw dipped her head when he complimented her. "Why, thank you. You are rather dashing too, may I say."
"A warrior..." She breathed, smiling. "Now that would be a great role to have. You will certainly, I expect, be a great warrior." She smiled kindly.
"And yes, to my demise, I have only just begun my path to become a warrior. It will be a while until I reach that stage." She cast him a look of false sadness, but quickly it was overrun by a glow of laughter.
So he was nearly a warrior. He would leave the apprentice den soon, and Sunpaws newest friend would be gone. "Even when you leave, I shall admire you. I will remember our conversation for centuires, master Windcry." She meowed truely.

He chuckled and ducked his head, not ready for such a kind remark. "Please you needn't," He chuckled as she change courses and spoke of being a warrior her self. "You will have your day. How bout this I promise I will be there. To see you taking on the new role of warrior" He's grin reaching his blue optics. "Oh you admire me, then miss?" He chuckled "Well centuries might be much to long," he stopped again and laughed heartily "Master?" chuckling he shook his head amused. "You know we could just befriend. Oh and I don't think the warriors would mind lending me to you for a few conversations in the week"

Sunpaw smiled.
"It would be great if you would be there, but I wouldn't like to make you do something you needen't. Also if the warriors refuse you to do anything with me, don't step out of line and argue. It is not very important compared to your duties I suppose, even if it does kill me." She teased, a laugh escaping her.
She purred and looked into his eyes. "Do you have a certain name you'd like to get when you become a warrior?" She asked, knowing she had her preffeances for herslef.
She smiled at Windpaw, eyes shining like the sun.

He grinned "Well I think they might have to let me go if they can't confide with my interests" he gave a wide grin. Purring he shifted. "I have thought about it for a long time frankly I've settled for Windcry" he chuckled "Do you have any suggestions?" looking into her oh so bright optics.
