Fang was feeling restless and despite it being well before morning quietly headed to the world outside of the camp. The prairie had a eerie glow about it in this current time of year. He grinned he enjoyed it. No so meant less heat, and a small bit of light from the large white egg in the sky. He was enjoying his time alone until the winds changed and a scent was brought to him. Whipping around, eyes wide with disbelieving. "Ashmist!" he couldn't help calling her name... he was stunned it had been so long. |

Ashmist felt.. tired? She wasn't sure that was it. But she didn't feel her normal self that's for sure. Sighing the black lynx-looking she-cat decided to go for a walk. The colder season was upon her and she once again was not in iceclan so it wasn't nearly as fun nor was her thick fur having any meaning. Lost in her own world, the cat walked with her head down until she heard her name called.
"H-Huh?" she looked up and stopped dead in her tracks. "F-Fangy?" she said with shock in her tone.

His optics were wide with many emotions. Calmly padding to join her he stopped short a tail length away. "It's errm been a while.." he felt a gust of chilly wind as it ripped past them. He sighed. "Where have you been?" he asked quietly. His face raced with different emotions being relief, longing, love, confusion and much more. He gave her a look over she looked the same, nothing bad nor good had happend from what he could tell. |

Her lynx like tail swished from side to side and she stepped back slightly when he came towards her. Her dark blue eyes stared in confusion Why is he still speaking to me? I thought everything was over when he left me after he found out i was a half blood.. no she couldn't let those thoughts get to her. "I..it really has been, i hear Silverwhisker gave birth to more, congrats." she meowed with a small smile.
"Huh? M-Me? oh you know.. Here, there, everywhere.. mainly straying by our small stream." she said.

He regretted his reaction from all those moons ago. Sure she hand't told him but he hand't been all the way out there either. He lowered his head, "Yeah, thanks." He shook his fluffy head for a moment, then returned his gaze. "Really, has it changed much over the season?" he asked truly over ceriousity and was slightly pricked our stream... He sighed and swished his tail. "Have you seen any of our kits recently?" he asked thinking of one in particular. |

"The only kit I have seen is Darkpaw, when I had to cover a lesson for his mentor but that was moons ago, sense then no not really. I know one passed on due to a cold that was caught to late.. it was one of the younger ones." she said with a frown. "But that's ok, im staying strong!" she meowed and shrugged "Not much change now other then its starting to freeze over which bothers me that was my only way of catching my meals and I cant store fish here like I did back home." she said.
"Looks like it'll be snow rabbits for a while." she then lowered her head laughing. "Least it makes the cousin happy that I'm killing her worst enemy."

"Yeah I'm concerned for him," he started until he heard one of his kits had passed. His optics drew wide, with sadness regardless of there not so closeness he still loved her and even more so his kids"That's good to here, i'm sorry.."He shifted a bit, when she spoke of the water. "Well if you ever want a hunting partner i'm not far," he offered barley thinking of the meaning of those words. He grinned "I'm sure she will be very glad to hear that," he smiled. |
