@roselightning
Foxpaw had strayed a little far from the normal part of Fireclan territory, he wanted to explore and see the beautiful sights. He found himself on the edge of the Fireclan territory, tail lengths from entering Treeclan. The tom blinked, and admired the trees, leaves falling in the wind of Autumn.
Foxpaw then caught a sight, of a cat younger than he was, so probably an apprentice. He smiled brightly and called over the border. "Hello, stranger!"

Rosepaw had been practicing tree climbing on any trees she could find. Somehow, she'd found herself tree climbing all the way to the Fireclan. She'd noticed the trees were shorter and easier over here. The trees were best in the heart of Treeclan territory. By best, she meant the tallest and the hardest to climb. Good thing she climbed those sorts first. Even if the very first tree she climbed was... Less than intentional.
She was dropped from a tree and walking along to look for another tree when a voice called out. She looked over her shoulder. It was some ginger-furred apprentice on the opposite side of the border. She squinted her eyes at him. "You're Fireclan."

Foxpaw couldn't help but stare in awe at the trees, the towering figures that watched over him. Was that how Treeclan felt? His eyes returned to the she-cat, he blinked. "My name is Foxpaw, not Fireclan." He laughed, smiling as usual.
He then stopped laughing and continued speaking. "And you're a Treeclanner I suppose?"

Rosepaw narrowed her eyes. "I didn't ask for any smartass remarks." Her voice was quickly becoming irritated. "Yes, I'm Treeclan!" Her tail lashed behind her. What was with this guy?! He was way too smiley. It was annoying, why was he smiling at her. He was laughing and all of it was grating on her nerves. Grrrrgh.....(( Foxpaw um did you forget about this thread

((I forgot to reply, sorry!
Foxpaw tilted his head, chuckling a little. "Language, please. And nice to meet 'cha, Tr- Stranger." He forced himself to call the other cat 'Treeclan', because she seemed pretty annoyed with his remarks.

((S'okay mate.
Rosepaw's eye twitched at both the language comment and the slip up. She knew he was about to make a stupid joke, but quickly decided against it. Slightly appeased by the latter action, her fur stopped bristling, lying a little flatter. She was still visibly irritated, however. Her ears flattened. "I can speak however I like, you're not my mom. Or my boss."

Foxpaw gave a slightly confused expression, tilting his head back up. His tail twitched. "True, but it's just a thought." He stated, shrugging. He could see that the she-cat was irritated with him. Everybody seemed to be so mad at him these days, so it didn't bother him as much as earlier times.

Rosepaw huffed. "It's not a thought anymore, since you've spoken it!" She pointed it out fiercely. Then she huffed again. "What are you doing by the border, anyways?" She questioned. It was a legitimate question, since it seemed strange that cats would spend time hanging around a thin line of scent that divided the clans.

The ginger tom's ears twitched, nodding slowly. He paused for a second or two. "I guess I was having too much fun exploring. It's honestly better outside the camp than inside at the moment." He explained, shrugging his shoulders.

Rosepaw huffed. "What are you exploring the borders for? They're just borders..." Then her eyes wandered off to some of the trees on Fireclan's side. "I mean you've got some trees, but that's it."

Foxpaw's face turned a light red of embarrassment, his ears still twitching. "I wandered off too far..." He murmured, huffing. "And how the heck do you even climb trees? It seems difficult to do, to be honest." The apprentice decided to steer away from the topic at hand.

Rosepaw figured this guy was a bit... Spacey, if he was doing things like wandering off. Then she huffed. "Like I'd tell a Fireclanner that!" Then she sighed. "It's probably difficult since you're built differently." Since talking with Foxpaw, she'd noticed that he seemed leaner. She figured she was probably more built with the strength needed more climbing trees, while he could probably outrun her... Especially since he seemed a bit older.

Foxpaw blinked, not minding the slight shout. He shrugged, and flicked his tail as he responded. "Eh, true. I don't have beefy muscles or anything, and I'm not strong with physical stuff. Anyways, what's a pretty kitty like you out here alone, if I may ask?" He paused after his sentence, noticing by how this conversation was going, Rosepaw would most likely bite his head off. His embarrassed face turned ever more red.
"Oh, sorry about that last comment!"

Rosepaw's fur bristled again. "Pretty?!" She exclaimed indignantly. "Is that what I look like to you?! I'll have you know, I'm a Treeclan apprentice who trains hard everyday!" She insisted, rather loudly. Then she huffed. "... If it isn't already glaringly obvious, I was training." Seriously, did she only look like a pretty face to this guy?! It really rubbed her the wrong way. She almost wished she had been in a real fight to show off some scars so maybe cats would think of her differently. More seriously.
The blushing went completely over her head, her social skills being rather lacking in favor of other departments.

Foxpaw flinched, looked like he was going home without a head tonight. "No! You actually look pretty intimidating! Why is everything I say an insult these days!?" He squeaked, hissing to himself. The red faded from his face. He opened his mouth to make a sly comment, but ultimately thought better of it.
