up to two other cats please. I would prefer if one were to have known about Dove. it doesn't matter if they were close to her or not, but since Crow's here for her, it seems suitable.
Crowwing knew that something happened. He did not know what it was, but Cloudclan did send him a message that he had to check up on his sister. Where she was nowadays, he did not know, but he assumed that maybe some Deathclanners would know. She was with them when Drought was still alive after all, so maybe some cats would know of her existence.
The tom dreaded leaving home. The prairie was where he belonged. He was happy there. But he had to check up on his younger sister. Once he successfully led himself to the outskirts of where he thought the pseudo-clan resided, he sighed and waited for some cat to pick him up. True, this was Deathclan, but if his sister managed to live here through the times of both Viper and Drought, there had to be some respect and order. Now it was just a waiting game for someone to arrive.

Natalia was taking a break from essentially stalking Ash. She'd found herself by the border of where Deathclan marked their territory. She was surprised to see a cat there, he seemed on the older side. Natalia wasn't a little kid herself, but this guy seemed real old. Also... Slightly familiar. She couldn't come up with a name, so she figured she was probably imagining it. Regardless, she could tell he was a clan cat. He smelled like one.
She stopped. "Mind telling me what you're doing here?" She called out. He was alone, so she figured it couldn't be too malicious... But you could never be too careful. Things may not look as they appear and all that.

((Mind if I join in, I'm kinda bored .u.
Patch was taking time off being sorta edgy for today, it might have been instincts, she had no idea. The she-cat was standing by the Fireclan territory, just sort of lost in the sight of the fields. Then the older tom came by, one fairly familiar. She flinched as she saw Natalia approach as well. This should be pretty awkward.
The scarred feline took a glance at the two others and just shuffled to the side, ready to step in if needed or if the conversation interested her in the slightest. Her raised her ears and calmly sat.

Crowwing did not have to wait long, really. The Fireclan scent on him already attracted two rogues - Deathclanners, he assumed. Although he could not clearly distinguish the two, he could tell that they lived their fair share of battles. And they seemed young. The age of warriors. He wondered how long Deathclan cats often lived. Probably not long.
"I'm looking for a cat," he responded, keeping his cool. He knew that one wrong move might make him into a scratching post, and let's just say things were better if that did not happen. "And I was wondering if one of you two might know her whereabouts."

Natalia tilted her head slightly. "Several cats make their home here in Deathclan. You'll have to be more specific." She replied, matching the clan cat's calm tone. She wondered who he could be looking for. She didn't want to waste time dwelling too hard on hypotheticals, considering that she could get an answer easily.

Patch's position shifted closer towards the two cats, her head tilted. Why would a Fireclanner want to see any Deathclan cat? The group had a bad reputation last time she checked. Maybe he was friends with somecat that joined? She merely shrugged.
Patch opened her mouth to speak, but her clanmate beat her to it. She then raised her tail, and made her way towards Natalia. "Yeah... Sir, we can't read your mind." She added.

oh shoot I just realized that Natalia rescued Crow months ago when he was wandering around the canyon and almost died.
Crowwing sighed. "I'm looking for a silver tabby, short furred, green eyed, named Dove. Have you heard of her?"

((Oh. Yeah. That. All I remembered was Nat, Crow, and Canyon XD
Natalia noticed that Patch had joined and chimed in. Then the clan cat provided a description. Her ears folded back and she grimaced. "Dove? The former leader? She's dead. Why are you looking for her?"

Patch lowered her ears. Dove?.. Maybe he was looking to talk to the former leader. She sighed, shrugging. "She died to rat bites, to be exact." She added. Is this what she was going to do the whole time? Just add on? Eh, no matter, she didn't mind.

So his sister died. . . Crowwing could not believe it. And to rats. . . he knew of how much she hated the rodents, but he did not think she would have had such a terrible death. "We were supposed to die of old age. . ." he whispered. He shook his head, giving a nod of respect to both she-cats. "It would do me an honor if I were to have permission to roam around this border for a while. A few days maximum. Though I didn't know that she was the leader. What happened to Drought? I didn't think that she would have the capability to lead."
The tom then looked at Patch, noticing that she seemed to be the more "submissive" of both Deathclanners. Just like himself and Dove. "Did no one try to help her? How long ago was this?" Again, he avoided the question as to how or why he was asking about her.

Natalia guessed that this guy and Dove must've been close. Very close, from the way he was speaking. Then he nodded in respect, oddly enough. It was surprising. Then she nodded in response.
"I would be fine with that, but right now Deathclan has leadership I'm not sure about. It's possible she will be less amenable to it." She warned. "As for Drought... I believe her died in a coup. No one else claimed power, so Dove did." She noticed the old tom didn't seem to want to explain his connection to Dove... Oh well. It wasn't her business to pry. "It was... A while ago. I wasn't particularly close to her, so I didn't know until someone told me."

Patch flicked her ears, glancing to the side. She felt bad for the tom, it sounded like the two were close. She nodded her head in respect for the older feline.
"But yeah... I'm okay with you staying, but I don't know what Ash would like. Eh, doesn't matter. But if Pain claims leadership while you're here, I suggest you run. He hates clanners, doesn't matter what age or rank. Drought died in battle, but I was an idiotic kit at the time, so I don't remember correctly."
"And same as Natalia here. I was told when I returned from the barn, when Ash took leadership. But for all we know Dove could live, it's just a rumor..." She explained, finally stopping and sitting on the ground.

Crowwing listened as the two cats explained what happened. So Ash is the current leader and Pain was thinking of overthrowing the current leader? He didn't know who Ash or Pain were, and that was none of his business, really. But then the younger Deathclanner mentioned Natalia. That must be the older one's name. But Dove could be alive? He could not believe it.
He then noticed that the younger one sat down, so he assumed that they would be here for a while. "It's a pleasure and honor to have run into you two rather than a more 'dangerous' Deathclanner," he said. "I'm in the debt of you two for this information."

Natalia watched as Patch said her piece. It seemed Patch didn't have problems with the old tom, but she thought Pain might when he claimed leadership. Well, it was more an overthrowing than a claiming at this point. Already, she hated how long Ash had maintained herself. Hmph. She wanted Ash gone as soon as possible.
Then Patch elaborated on what happened with the latest leadership. Natalia didn't mention anything about Patch's self-deprecative comment. Natalia frowned. It almost seemed like... Patch was holding out hope.
Hope that Dove wasn't dead. Natalia didn't like having hope, so she assumed Dove to be dead. It'd be easier if Dove was dead, less... Confusing. Not that she wished ill of the silvery tabby.
Natalia shrugged. "It's of no cost to us to impart with this information." At least, she didn't view it that way. She knew for a fact that this wasn't recon. The tom clearly had a strong connection to Dove, so it wasn't a trick. "I believe... Openly hostile would be a better adjective. But, you're right. It's fortunate you came across us than a different pair."

Patch smiled faintly at the older tom, dipping her head in respect. She let them talk, her ears perked up. Her tail started moving the dirt around and she soon got lost in thought. Was it even possible for Dove to be alive? Rat bites were pretty bad, and if there were no herbs or anyone to help, it seemed very unlikely. Still, the impossible can happen somehow. She wasn't one to hope a clanmate more specifically her leader to be dead.'
"It's an honor as well, sir." Patch murmured. "And we're happy to help, if you'd like to stay for a bit like you said, just be careful."
