Scare panted, pink tongue hanging out of the side of his mouth as he wagged his tail. There was a rabbit at his forepaws, which he had just caught. The beta knew that a rabbit wasn't much, but it was something- winter was coming, which meant that he'd have to catch as much prey as possible in order to keep his pack well fed.
The tall wolf flopped onto the floor with a quiet thud, closing his mouth only to open it and begin panting again. His tail stopped wagging as he moved his head down onto his paws, resting. His golden eyes flickered around.

The silver and white female sighed.
Fall had already broken out among
the forest till the point of witch the
trees have already started to loose there
interesting pelt colors. Soon winter would
be upon them. She smiled she loved winter
as a season but she knew that she would be
very busy through out her calling in the pack.
Trotting along a woven path of foliage she searched
for useful herbs. While doing so she scented rabbit
then the scent of their own beta close by. She smile
might as well say hi right? Skipping towards him she
barked so he would not be alarmed "Mind if I join you Scare?" |

Scare had almost fallen asleep by the time he heard a familiar female voice. It was the medicine wolf of the pack, Storm. "Oh, hello, Storm,"The black wolf said calmly, shifting his position so that he could see her face better. "Go ahead,"He smiled, hitting the floor beside him with his tail as a welcome for her to lay or sit next to him.
"How's your day been?"Asked the young beta, trying to start a conversation with the grey she-wolf.

She gave a warm smile as she was
allowed to sit along side the black male.
She flopped down with an air of ease.
"Quite lovely actually. Yours?" she returned
the questioned and watched his expression
genuinely interested in this answer.

Scare sighed quietly, "It's been okay, but pretty boring as of recently," he continued, "I never really do anything anymore... All I really do now is hunt and occasionally talk to packmates."

Her eyes went wide slightly. "Boring? well I'm sorry to
hear that. I'm sure things will pick up. In fact I've heard
lots of things from my father concerning the higher rank."
she smiled hoping this would ease his troubles. "Well do you mind
if I keep you some company I mean until you've got something better to do?"

Scare's ears pricked in interest, eyes drifting towards Storm's, "Really? Care to elaborate or is that information confidential?" He asked, giving a playful smirk.

"I can give you an Idea." she gave a small smile at least
he seemed interested in the news. "Some type of raiding
party to check out the new pack." pausing she added, "My
father is also very interested in the loners that have been
popping up I think you and Killer will be asked to track those
few down... I don't know what he will have you do of course I've
only heard a few things on the matter." She titled her head as he smirked
rather playfully. "You forget i'm a wolf of my own. I'm not owned by any
Alpha" she gives a silky laugh.

Scare let out an amused 'hm' as Storm spoke, "Checking out the new pack sounds fun. It's always amusing to see little baby packs start out- it's like they expect to be the best... Then they see what their up against," He grinned, placing his paw on his chest, motioning towards himself.
"Ah and some quality time with Killer how nice that sounds," Scare joked with a sarcastic tone. The older wolf didn't actually bother him, but he did have a grumpy attitude that he wasn't sure if he was fond of yet.

She nodded feeling the amusement she wasn't even
that much into the actual fight her pack seemed to in
love with. But it was always entertaining to see some
one claim war against the reining power. "Oh yeah,
they fear the day they shall ever have to fight
against the all great and powerful Scare" she gave
a warm laugh. When Scare brought up her uncle she snorted
in amusement. "He is just a ray of sunshine, no?" she gave
a bright smile. "I'm sure you too will get along I mean after
you except his drawl personality and him your skills."

Scare grinned, clicking his neck cockily, "I'll have 'em runnin' away with their tails between their legs," He wagged his tail a little quicker now.
"Yes he is isn't he, and the brightest of them all too," He joked.

She rolled her optics playfully. Amused
she tilted her head, "Now I am starting
to feel bad for the out siders" she smiled.
Her tail started to wag as well, him company seemed
like that of a treat. "Oh defiantly" she agreed with a
laugh continuing his small joke. "Is he all that bad?"
she had always got along quite well with Killer but everyone
else seemed to have another story. And that amused her.
