Thornwatcher was laying in is nest with his eyes half open. Not wanting to get up and disturb the others he scans the den for anybody else with signs of waking up. With a sigh he rests his head on his paws

Willowheart yawned getting to her paws opening her icy blue eyes to scan the den around her. She got up slowly and got a better look around and thats when she spotted the tom. She felt like she knew him. Or at least seen him at the ceremony. Giving the cat beside her a soft lick she padded over staying in the corner of the den. "Mornin'." She whispered.

Turning to the noise he says "Hi." Doing a double take he says "You are Willowheart right? Talonfrost described you to me" He turns his body to face her and is excited to finally meet his friends mate

She smiled kindly in reply. "Yea that's me." She meowed looking at him. "I think I remember you from the warrior ceremony, Thornwatcher?" She questioned not remembering that well.

"It's a perfectly fine name." She mowed kindly in response. "At least you didn't get the name Thornleaf. Or something girly." She giggled.

Laughing he says "yeah, that would have been bad... Has Talonfrost told you how I nicknamed him leaf nose?" he says with a smile as the memory comes to mind

"I didn't even know his nickname was leaf nose." She laughed and wondered to herself but then shrugged. "Tell me how did my mate get that hilarious name." She asked still giggling.

"Oh boy, you are gonna love this!" He says smiling. He stands and pace for a few posts before sitting back down. "So, we first met when we were kits and we started to be friends right away." He licks his paw and brings it over his ear, "So after talking and a few days later we start to like, play fight. And onetime we were fighting and he missed a tackle and I walloped him over the head and he fell face first into a leaf that got stuck to his nose. So , I tease him with that..." He giggles slightly

Willowheart listens intently and giggles at her mates nickname. She then smirked at the idea. "Would it be okay if I need to..if I use that nickname?"

Smiling as she finds the story funny he says "Oh please... he never stops bragging about how he beat me in that hunting contest we had... but yes it would be quite amusing to see him when he tells me his mate has been calling him 'Leafnose'"
