Silentdust was alone in the Rockclan camp. There was cats walking around and such, but the warrior just wasn't talking to anybody. She would go up to anyone she knew, but she couldn't see anyone of that category. She didn't want to walk up to a complete stranger, she didn't want to be judged.
The new warrior took a deep breath and merely sat on the rocks. Her brown eyes glanced around.

Bearpaw shuffled his paws, knocking up the dust on the smooth stone in front of the apprentice's den. It seemed like no one was ever in camp nowadays. He couldn't even find any of his family to pal around with! I wonder if Flintpaw is back yet... he thought, bouncing to his feet and beginning to lumber over to the apprentice's den. He knew it was unlikely that his brother would have returned since the last time he checked a few minutes ago, but he had nothing better to do. His eyes caught on the form of a young warrior as he made he was walking over to the den. She doesn't look like she's doing anything, he thought, abandoning the den-checking and changing his course to the stranger.
"Hello!" Bearpaw greeted with a grin as he came withing range of the she-cat's hearing, "exciting day?" he quirked his head to the side, speaking in good natured sarcasm.

Silentdust flinched as she heard a loud voice. Her line of thought returned to reality and she stared awkwardly at the tom. She blinked and waved her tail in greeting. "Hey, um... Yeah." She chuckled slightly at the sarcasm. Despite being not the best at social interaction, she still could catch onto sarcasm and other emotions.

Bearpaw grinned, "I'm Bearpaw, by the way. Mind if I take a seat?" he gestured with his tail towards the spot next to her. It was nice to have the opportunity to talk to someone, RockClanners seemed to be scarce nowadays and he was quick to jump at a chance at conversation.

Silentdust nodded shortly. She smiled faintly. "I'm Silentdust, nice to met. Meant. MEET. Geez I can't speak today." She muttered, laughing awkwardly at her mistake. But she didn't mind messing up her words, this cat seemed pretty nice so far. Her tail twitched.

"Well, it's nice to met. Meant. Meet! You too!" the tom mewed with a grin and a soft chuckle. "Oh, and I hope you'll be able to speak soon, it'd be a pretty boring conversation if I have to have it all by myself. Although my mom says I'm able to talk for two, but I don't really think that's a good thing," he laughed again before going on with a lighthearted smile, "still, I hope you're not forgetting how to talk. Not that I would blame you, there doesn't seem to be many cats around these to talk with. I'm a bit out of practice myself."

Silentdust's face turned red with embarrassment. She laughed quietly and replied with a sense of quickness. "Thanks, and that's not too bad of a thing. How do you think I got my name?" She tried to joke. She took a few deep breaths of air, asthma wasn't the best thing to have during Leafbare.
"But yeah, there's not many cats here. But at least we don't have less prey more easily than the others, and that makes us stronger."

(sorry for the late reply!! i just adopted 3 bunnies and they'll be a bit time consuming as i get them settled in (=u=")) Bearpaw giggled at Silentdust's joke, trying his best to play off it. "Hmmm, I don't know," he drawled in sarcasm, "honestly, I think it might've been a strange fluke. I mean, this is probably the first word I've gotten in on this conversation," the brown apprentice grinned at the stupid joke. His ears perked up attentively at the strangeness of the warrior's breathing. "Is everything okay?" he meowed worriedly, his attentive mind already wondering how long it would take him to dash to the medicine cat's den. I wonder if they'd even be there? he thought, calming down when Silentdust spoke again. "You're right, although I'm finding the new territory a bit harder to adjust too--there's so many streams! And they're all freezing over and really cold and I was half-tempted to lick one this morning but I'm terrified my tongue will freeze onto it and I won't be able to get it off!"

((It's okay! Yeah, three bunnies sound a little bit busy >~<
Silentdust didn't respond much to Bearpaw's joke, she just smiled a little. But when he asked her about her breathing, her right paw twitched. She answered quickly, "It's just a health issue of mine. It's mild, don't worry." Her tail began to twitch as well, her brown eyes lit up a bit in amusement. "Well, if you do get your tongue stuck, you'd be stuck there til Newleaf. The territory does get more recognizable after a bit." She stayed silent for a few seconds for asking a question of her own.
"So how's your training going? Are you close to your assessment?"
