((@arwen))
Saffron had been kicking at rocks for the past hour, utterly bored. Her paws hurt, her back ached, and she was overheating as the sun baked her back. It was a particularly warm day, out of the ordinary at this time of year. Her pelt had already grown thicker, preparing for leaf-bare. Now, she wish she had her shorter coat.
She sighed, annoyed, before spotting a small flicker around the corner of a large boulder. What the... Saffron stood, curious. She stalked over to the corner of the boulder, peering around. Another cat? She didnt want to startle it, so she stayed behind the corner, watching the cat.

(Soooooooo sorry, I never even realized this was posted.... Wow....Not even sure if I'm allowed to post now, but I'm gonna do it anyway haha)
Arwen stalked through the tall grass, her tapering tail lashing excitedly. Her ears flattened sharply against her head as she crept forward, the mouse locked in her sights. It was rare such a plump mouse would be seen around this time of the season, though Arwen had never been taught how to hunt, so chances were slim. She lunged forward, landing a whisker away from the mouse. It skittered forward around the other side of the large rock, and she lunged after it, crashing straight into another cat. She fell back from the impact, eyes wide with confusion. "Sorry!" She squeaked, scrambling to her paws.

(( quite alright, i haven't been too active. ))
Saffron shook her head and blinked a couple of times, reorienting herself from the blow. She looked down, noticing the cat that she had been looking at from a distance. Stupid she thought thats what you get when you act like a stalker. Saffron had also noticed the mouse that scrambled thought her paws, and scolded herself for not acting quicker. She could've caught it. She now turned her head to the side to watch it scurry behind a tree stump. Finally, she turned to the cat as it squeaked out a Sorry. At first, Saffron gave a comment in her head, saying that this cat was glad that she herself wasn't a snappy rock, like most the rest of the grumps in DeathClan. She smiled, saying "Its fine, I was in your way."

Arwen took shook out her fur roughly, a natural smile breaking out on her face. She looked the stranger up and down, as if sizing her up for a fight. It was always valuable to know your opponent, not that this cat was going to fight her. Hopefully. "I'm Arwen." She shifted her weight slightly, looking behind the feline briefly to watch the mouse scamper off. She huffed slightly, focusing her attention back on the other cat. She would get another chance to hunt, though the thought didn't make her any less hungry.

Saffron nodded, noticing Arwen watching the mouse run away. "I'm Saffron," she said, sitting down and shifted her weight around, wondering what the other cat would do.
(( sorry short ))

"Arwen." She grinned, showing her teeth in the friendliest smile she could manage. She flicked her tail back and forth, happy to have met someone new.

Saffron slightly giggled at Arwen's huge smile, and tried it back to her. She grinned as wide as she could, scrunching her eyes together to make the smile seem even bigger. She held it for a moment, then broke down laughing at herself. "Sorry..." she said when she recovered.

Arwen tilted her head back and let out a long, throaty laugh, cringing as it squeaked wildly out of control. She tilted her head far off to the side, almost tipping over from being so unbalanced. "You're funny." She grinned, though kept her smile small.

Saffron was almost in tears laughing. As she looked up at Arwen, she didn't know much to say. "I...try?" she guessed, gave a one hmmpg of a luagh, then smiled, normally.

Arwen, with the goal of continuing to make Saffron laugh, proceeded to throw herself onto her back, twisting her neck to the side with a lopsided grin. Tail lashing, she stretched her paws into the air, shifting around to get comfortable. "I like you." She nodded once, confirming her statement..

Saffron stiffled a small giggle, trying not to laugh at the strange cat. When she said that she liked her, Saffron didn't seem to understand why, at first. I mean, she wasn't anything special.
"Thanks! Your pretty great, too" she said, with a small thwack on Arwen's ear. She then laughed again.

Arwen beamed, batting roughly at her muzzle with sheathed paws in response. "Pfft, Pretty great? Nah, I'm amazing!" She sprang onto her paws, her front paws moving forward like a playful dog.
(Sorry, short)

Saffron laughed and sprang away from her, a smiling, playful snarl on her face. "Amazing?" she questioned. "I'll think about that."

Arwen raised a fictional brow, grinning ear to ear and forgetting about the fact it once again probably made her look crazy. "Think about this!" She sprang forward, wrapping her front paws around the felines head. She jerked her to the side, trying to tackle her to the ground. Though, she doubted it would work, considering her small stature.
