Whitejaw couldn't help but grumble as he stepped out of the warrior's den. He had woken up, expecting a nice, average day outside, however, when he left his nest, the first thing that his his face was freezing cold wind. He frowned at it, fluffing up his relatively short fur as he made his way towards the edge of the clearing, deciding it would be a good place to do some socialising.
He sighed as more wind hit him in the face, making him shiver more than he already was. So this was winter.

"Ha. You look cold."
It was said teasingly, not cruelly. From the side of camp, hidden in the shadows with my front paws over one another and chin up, I called out to Whitejaw. I remember the guy from kithood. Weird and mischievous, he convinced me to put wet moss in the queen's nests. Which was an amazing prank we totally got away with. I... think. Sometimes I think I'm imagining Brackensky staring at my coldly from behind my back.
Whatever. I smirk at Whitejaw, at first. But then I remember we're not really the closest of friends. I mean sure, we got along as kits... surprisingly for me... but since then, we've been distant. I cheered for his warrior name, I've kept an ear out making sure Whitejaw hadn't just up and vanished or got himself killed(not that I'd ever tell him I care for his well being....), but that was it.
My smirk fades slowly and I glance away, a bit downcast and uneasy now. I kept away from him because... I didn't know if he wanted to be friends with me. I'm not exactly a nice cat... I don't have any friends, or anyone in my life to care about. I kinda expect Whitejaw to just brush off my comment right now and continue on his way.
Tch. Apprentice depression sucks.

Whitejaw's ears pricked at the sound of a familiar voice- one he had not heard for a while. He purred at the statement, giving the apprentice a cocky smile as he replied, "Don't know what you're talking about. I'm boiling," He laughed slightly, still shivering from the cold. He knew he wouldn't like leaf-bare.
Turning his head, the young warrior's blue eyes met Slatepaw, a cat he knew as a kit. He remembered that the two had become friends, although not too close, and that they had pranked the queens. They had gotten away with it as far as he knew. He let out a happy mew.
His pricked ears flattened a bit when he saw Slatepaw back away, her smirk fading. He gave her a small frown and flopped on the floor, long legs landing in a weird sprawl position, "Why no happy?" He asked in a kit-like voice, pouting.

Onyxpaw trots around camp boardly when he hears two familar voices, "Whitejaw! Slatepaw!" He calls out, and makes his way over to them, "Are we gonna fight again?" He says jokingly to Slatepaw and then he turns to whitejaw and snorts, "Is this brute Whitekit?" He says that last bit in a teasing manner trying to annoy his brother

-Considering there's three of us could we have a posting order to keep things organised?-
Whitejaw couldn't help but smirk when he heard the voice of his brother calling his and Slatepaw's names. He purred as his eyes drifted to the other black cat whom he hadn't spoken to since kithood. He was kind of hoping the two of them would be closer, but he could deal with talking to the other cat every nine moons.
He flicked his ear in joke annoyance at Onyxpaw's comment, laughing back, "That's Sir Whitekit to you."
-Edit: Onyxpaw, sounds good!-

Whitejaw's response made my fur spike up a bit just on instinct, feeling as if I was being mocked. I know I wasn't. He was just joking... I think.
Tch. My eyes narrow slightly as Whitejaw says, in an annoying kitten voice, what's wrong. But... I suppose nothing is wrong. He's still here. Whitejaw hasn't run off yet to avoid me. So, my earlier worry was no longer needed.
Oh, but joy, we are joined by yet another soul! I blink, scowling at the direction of the voice until I realize it is Onyxpaw. Oh. He's not that bad. Thank the stars two tolerable cats decided to show up around the time I don't feel like tearing someone's head off just for glancing at me.
"Only if you keep being annoying." is my response to Onyxpaw, because it is without thinking. And although the meaning behind my words is most likely not false threatening, my voice isn't aggressive. Slightly amused, like I had been with Whitejaw.
Although, I awkwardly become quiet when the two tomcats begin to bond.... 'Oh.' I mutter to myself, looking away with flattened ears. I'm... already forgotten. Whatever... I guess....

With a smile he says "Must I cal you that?" Turning to Slatepaw he says "I can see you are not the spitting devil you were when we first met, "it's better this way, I think you are more enjoyable when you don't try to burtlize me with your words."

Whitejaw gave Onyxpaw a simple smirk at his question, not feeling the need to reply verbally as his eyes drifted towards Slatepaw. He smiled, listening to them talk. He was a little confused about whether or not the two got along or not due to their word choices, but he guessed the amused tones meant that they were being sarcastic. Besides, he doubted that either of them would approach someone just to insult them.

I curl my lip at Onyxpaw's words to my lack of aggressive. Tch. If he liked the way I was now, he should do a better job of watching his words. Or we would be spitting at each other's throats again. Maybe this time our threats wouldn't be empy air. "Think whatever you please. But that doesn't mean I'm suddenly a friendly cat because you want me to be, flea-bag." I growl at him. Tch. Toms. Whatever.

(lol, Happy New Years all!)
He fake winces and he says "Ouch, but I do think that either way!" He looks away and back at Whitejaw. "So, how is it being a warrior? DO you get to boss around other cats now?" He chuckles lightly as he thinks of the tom trying to boss around Slatepaw, it was not a pretty thought

whitejaw glanced at the two apprentices individually, his eyes almost giving them a short glare as he tried to get them to quit being negative to each other. he could do without seeing the two cats fight... even if they were to they could at least do it when he wasn't around.
as he looked back forwards, onyxpaw began speaking to him again. he replied, thankful for the change in subject, "it's great being a warrior. and no, i don't really get to boss others round too much, but the feeling of having some authority is nice," he purred, trying to bring them both into conversation again, "are you both excited to become warriors?" he asked, "how's training going?"

I gave Whitejaw a glance, a little bit surprised her was glaring at us. Immediately, I glared back, my tail lashing with frustration towards the tomcat. 'Don't you DARE glare at me!' I hissed in my head, even if it was just a short one. I still noticed it. I turned back to Onyxpaw with an annoyed growl. "Whatever." I muttered, now listening to the two talk.
Being a warrior sounded nice. Waaay better than being an annoying apprentice. Tch. I hated apprenticeship. At Whitejaw's question, I gave a twitch of an ear and looked away. "Heck yeah. I can't wait to ditch apprentice duties." I told them, giving a lash of my tail. "And--" I hesitated for a moment. Then, I quickly snapped my gaze to Onyxpaw. "How is your training going?" I demanded, avoiding the question about my own.

As SLatepaw flashes an angry look towards Whitejaw Onyxpaw looks at her when she mumbles 'whatever' He gives her a look and says "well, apprentice duties do stink..." He thinks about the question and he says "I don't know my mentor is not really around. What about you?" He asks her the same question noticing how she avoided it the first time

whitejaw frowned a little, his black ears flattening backwards a bit. it kind of hurt being the reason for other cats being angry, especially friends and relatives- he had always felt like onyxpaw didn't like him very much so to be given such a look from him made him shuffle his paws nervously. he decided to settle his blue gaze on slatepaw instead, trying not to show the over-reaction. he nodded quietly, glancing back at onyxpaw as he spoke before looking at the floor.
