As Victor stretches and rises from his icy bed of pine needles, he yawns widely and mutters something about a snack. He takes one step outside of his shelter underneath thick pine brush and is met with a bucket of icy cold water to the head. Gaping with shock, the graceful light grey tom takes a step back and looks out at the sky. Thick dark grey storm clouds covet the once-lilac sky and icy sheets of rain pelt down upon the place. The longhaired cat's stomach grumbles in annoyance and Victor tries to remember when he last ate. It was about two days ago, as he recalls - it was a huge chicken leg bone that had almost been licked clean. It was at times like these that the rogue wondered why he had left his home. He wasn't even a part of DeathClan; not really - he was an outsider, hanging around for something to rely on and call home. He sighs and slumps down in the undergrowth, grooming his paws as he waits for the storm to pass. He doesn't notice the hurried pawsteps towards his make-shift shelter.

Natalia was on the opposite side of the territory in the rain. Natalia herself, didn't mind water. She really didn't. The rain was another story. It was terrible and made finding prey harder than it needed to be. It was incredibly, incredibly irritated. Her irritated gaze looked up to the stormy gray sky. She grumbled to herself as she made efforts to keep her tail and paws from dragging on the ground. The last thing she wanted was to collect dirt on her fur. She wasn't exactly a neat freak, but it was frustrating to have that extra weight.
As she was trying to get on the path back to her own den, which would be far drier than any other part of this forest, barring other's dens.... She spotted a make-shift shelter. It didn't seem like a den. Was it the temporary hiding place of some newbie? She walked over to it... Though she found her paws moving a bit faster than she expected. She stopped before it, not quite entering yet. Despite the rain, she had a slightly bored expression on her face.
She didn't exactly exude friendliness and warmth.

Victor's head snaps up and his sharp blue eyes meet that of a green bored gaze. He stares into them silently for a while, rain pattering overhead. The other cat, saying nothing, was exuding an aura of unfriendliness and the graceful grey tomcat frowns slightly, also saying nothing. Before long, however, he gives a smile and the sharpness of his multicoloured blue gaze softens into an extremely mellow friendliness. "Would you like to hide from the rain with me~?" he asks, smiling softly. "Oh, by the way, I saw a huge badger over there." he says, smile melting into a frown and motioning in the direction of the real dens and camp.

There a period of silence and staring. A cat she had noticed, upon coming closer, had snapped his head up. Then he frowned. Then he suddenly gave a smile and was practically radiating friendliness that could almost warm your pelt... Were it not raining.
Natalia wasn't sure what to make of the friendly demeanor. Was it real, was it not...? Regardless, she simply nodded in response to his softly spoken offer. She slipped into his makeshift shelter beside him. She saw where he was pointing and he frowned. She snorted.
"If that's true, I imagine quite an amount of cats will be stuck in the rain." Though, she found it hard to believe a badger got in so close to the dens without hearing a word about it. Cats weren't that chatty, but news like that tended to spread.

Victor shuffles sideways to make space for the she-cat, friendliness sparkling in his pretty blue eyes. "Yes, that will most likely be the case, unfortunately.." the tom says with a dramatic exhale. "but not to worry! I'll invite them all into this pine shelter." he purrs in amusement. "Oh, I forgot to give you my name: it's Victor." he says friendlily. "And you?"

((Mmm... S'okay.
Natalia was always a tad weirded out by cats who were friendly on sight. It was too sharp a contrast from her immense cynicism. She rolled her eyes. "I hope you'll refrain from doing that. I'm afraid there doesn't appear to be room." She replied coolly. "I go by Natalia." She replied. She eyed Victor, up and down. Hm... She had yet to deduce if his name fit him.
