Lightningkit jumped out of bed and walked out. The ground was snowy, but she found herself used to it by now. Apparently her ancestors had originated in the snow, and she had only really had one day she could remember without it. It left where they were here though, and she didn't like that. She just wanted it to stay. Unfortunately, it was still pretty early, so she quickly ate a mouse then headed back to the nursery, almost tripping over herself as she saw another small cat. "Oh, Cypresskit, you scared me." she said when she finally made out who the cat was.

Cypresskit liked the snow.

It was such a pretty sight for her to see. But it was also quite cold but the long-furred tabby did not care. Cypresskit's amber gaze fixed on Lightningkit one of her sisters. She trotted over hoping to frighten her. "Hi Lightningkit." The brown and white tabby purred before taking a seat beside her sibling. Cypresskit kept on staring at the beautiful snow flakes falling from the sky. "Do you want to play in the snow?"

Lightningkit pretended to think for a moment before digging into the snow, a skill she had become rather good at, and starting to pile it. "Snow fort!" she said, not loud enough to wake any late sleepers.

Cypresskit leapt into the snow.

She stood up and shook out her long-furred pelt before copying what lIghningkit was doing. "And after once we build the snow forts, we could have a snowball fight!" She exclaimed before countinuing to build a snow fort with her tiny kitten paws.

Lightningkit nodded, her tongue sticking out of her mouth slightly as she focused on her work. There was probably enough snow built up already, so she let Cypress kit work on that while she dug, making it deeper and wider. At least wide enough for two kits before focusing on depth.

Cypresskit attempted to use the snow to make walls for the snow fort. So far she was impressed by the looks of the snow fort so far. "The walls are almost done I think." The brown and white tabby meowed before continuing to work on the fort. She wanted it to be nice and big.

Lightningkit nodded and made her way out of the whole she was digging and nodded. "It looks good." she said, patting it slightly with her tail to make it a bit smoother.

Cypresskit began to roll some snow into a snowball.

She smirked as she picked it up and tossed it towards Lightningkit, attempting to throw it at her. "Snowball fight!"

As soon as she saw Cypresskit rolling up a ball, she ducked behind the fort and rolled up a ball of her own, poking up jer head and throwing it as soon as she saw the other one fly bye.

Cypresskit got hit with a snowball.

She made another one and aimed it at Lightningkit, attempting to throw it at her side. Cypresskit hoped she hadn't thrown it at her face.

Lightning tried to duck and avoid the next snowball, but that just make it a bulls eye, and since she was so small her pelt ended up covered in snow. She screeched and threw a new one back.
