RiverShade, awoke with a start. Dawn hadn't yet broke yet she felt restless. She looked down at her five beautiful kits and gave a warm smile regardless if no one was awake to see. She looked over her shoulder and it dawned.. They had never seen a sunrise. With a smile she stood, and gently nudged each of her little fluffy bundles with her nose. "C'mon lets go for a small adventure." She whispered softly, hoping to entice them to there cute little paws.

Lightningkit's ears perked up. She had been rather restless that night, and was up and about to get up and out when she felt the warmth of her mother move. She poked her head up to see what it was. "Mommy?" she asked, probably too softly to be heard, but her mom spoke a moment later anyway. She moved out of the nest, not sure wether the other kits were up so she was careful not to startle any of them. "Yeah!" she cheered in a hushed voice.

Bellkit had been sleeping soundly, curled tightly into a ball as if he wanted to take up as little space in the shared nest as possible. He slept through his mother and sister waking up, but when he was nudged awake he blinked the sleep from his eyes to see what was happening. This was the earliest he had ever had to wake up. "Wha-? An adventure?" He mumbled groggily as he slowly got to his paws and siddled up to his mother. He wasn't about to say no to her, but he could definitely do with a bit more sleeping time. Maybe he'd just take a nap when they got back from whatever this adventure was.

Shrewkit was already up by the time he had heard his mother's voice. He didn't sleep well the night before and had just lied there and thought to pass the time. His fluffy fur ruffled and he staggered up to his paws. He stared blankly at his siblings, then at his mother. "U-Umm... Sure." He smiled, trotting near both Lightningkit and Rivershade.
