Sitting just out side of the barn, she smiled as a small white and orange pelt came into view. Though she had come out side for some fresh air, it would be much more enjoyable with her little bundle of joy Lightningkit. She purred, "what are you up too?" she questioned warmly.

(I was actually considering making one too Xd)
Lightningkit looked up as she continued walking to the nursery and noticed her mother came out. She shrugged. "I just had a little to eat, from their my plan is a work in progress. I was assuming you all were inside, it's a bit cold today." she responded with a smile. There was also snow, as she had noticed for a while, but that was just obvious. To her at least, she had lived mostly her whole life in the snow. Apparently it never left before, and she had been slightly interested in that for a little before releasing that probably meant it did leave now. "What are you doing mommy?"

"Oh so no plans?" she said with a fictitious raised eyebrow. She nodded "it is a bit chilly today isn't it?" she being long furred felt very little of the cold but of course her kits seemed to not have gotten that trait. Or at least it wasn't yet showing. "Me," she started with a small smile. "You know I was just waiting out her for someone to play with. Do you think you could help me with that?" she said making it seem like a duty that had to be lived up to. With a warm purr she gathered herself and stood, "Of course if your not to busy," she added with a smile.

Lightningkit nodded. "Like what? Snowball fights or snowdrifts or hide and go seek in the snow, well that last ones a bit hard, but anyway, what do you want to play?" she asked like one of those twoleg waiters asking what food someone wanted. Of coarse, she couldn't make that comparison herself, she had only heard of twolegs in stories.

"Snowball fight would be fun, of course I don't know if I could last against your strength!" She purred amused at the thought. Giant o'le her vs. tiny little bundle of fluff. She flicked her ear and smiled. With out another word, she scooped some soft fluff from the top of the layer and tossed it gently towards Lightningkit. Playful as ever. |

Kightningkit dogdged to the side, gathered a bundle of snow, and threw it at her mother. It wasn't really strong as A, she was a kit, and B, she was smaller than most of the other cats.

She didn't move cause there was little reason it would amuse her kit, and it wasn't that strong of an attack. She gave a shocked expression, and pretend growled. "I'm going to get you now!" she raced forwards and gently shoveled snow towards the top of Lightning. |

Lightning kit giggled she shook of snow from Rivershades snowball. Then she gathered a much smaller snowball and threw it at her mum.

She bounced back and forth, with a purr in her throat she took the small snowballs and skipped around Lightning. As she did so she paused for a moment and started to dig. Making a hole in the snow she packed it till she new it was safe and purred "Here I come" she bounded forward hoping to scoop little lighting up by her scruff and set her down in the hole she had made. |

Lightningkit watched what he hr was doing curiously, and was taken by surprised when she was scooped up and put in the hole. She responded rather quickly by digging into the snow and tunneling a safe distance away before coming back up, as it was plenty deep enough for her to do so.

She was amused as Lightning was able to escape. Impressed by the fact the kit was able to dig in the snow with such soft pads, she tilted her head. "Oh NO I think you've Won" she purred with a raised paws of surrender. |

Purring she moved to lick her little ears. "Well that's quite mature of you" she smiled. She tilted her head, before long she would need to introduce her kits to there father but she wasn't sure if they were ready of course Lightning seemed the most promising so far. "Shall we make Snow cats?" |
