okay, the title had complications because nothing was cool enough, so i seriously just tossed out random words and expected it to sound nice. it doesn't. forgive me....
Brackensky
What an odd sight for RockClan to witness. A silver speckled cat, with eyes a hazy blue like she was blind and posture slouched like she was exhausted, jaws full of a colorful set of herbs and paws quick and determined. Each step was fast, as if the snow crunching under her claws burned, or her destination had a set time to arrive at. She looked sour, obviously not the friendly sort, and certainly not about to make any new friends.
Perhaps the cats were fearful when they realized the herb-smelling she-cat had her eyes set on another. The RockClan queen Brackensky, settled down somewhere in the clearing and completely minding her own business. Although it would seem it was now Anemonemist's business, as the medicine cat stopped right beside the queen, set down her herbs, and fixed Brackensky with such a bland and dead look. Offering no way out of this.
"Weekly check up." she growled bluntly. Anemonemist leaned closer to sniff Brackensky for any sickness. "You're the first on my list. Don't move."

Brackensky was in the clearing laying on her back, trying to soak up any faint rays of sunlight. She wasn't a fan of Leaf-bare, just like any sane cat who wasn't a kittypet... Generally. Though, soon enough she found herself joined by the medicine cat Aneomemist. Not that she knew what the heck an anemone was, mind you. It sounded like some sort of strange twoleg thing. It probably was.
She sighed loudly, smelling the herbs the silvery medicine cat had brought. Brackensky's passive, yet exhaused look was met with Anemonemist's serious and bland expression. Two stubborn silvery cats, with rather differing intentions. It would appear this would be a battle of who would be more difficult, since it was clear neither she-cat had any remote intentions of giving into the other. Brackensky wasn't one who enjoyed being taken care of. It made her feel vulnerable, as such... She had previously always made it her job to avoid any possible connections to the medicine cat's den and its inhabitants.
Though, it seemed this time it had come to her. "No." She replied flatly, rolling over to stand up on her paws. "Bye." She meowed abruptly, immediately making quick, but not running, tracks for the camp's exit. She wasn't running away. She was leaving with dignity, gosh darn it!

The loud crack of gritted teeth certainly was not a calming sound. And neither was the sight of frustration and pure annoyance in Anemonemist's faded blue eyes. She turned, jaw set tightly in a rigid frown, sharp glare strong and claws slightly showed without realizing it.
The she-cat bounded after the queen with a following "tsk", forcing herself to stand boldly before her. Right in her way. And Anemonemist was prepared to step any which other way to continue her blockade.
"I thought full-time queens were smart," the snarky medicine growled, giving Brackensky a cold expression. Straightening up, Anemonemist butted her nose in the direction in the nursery. "You could have Whitecough. Then all those kits will get sick. Kits are weak, and they will die, and it will be because you are stupid. Or maybe you could die in a few days because of your stubborn stupidity."
She paused, sizing up Brackensky in a matter of moments. Ane honestly didn't expect retaliation. She figured queens were all fluffy clouds and sweet mothers. Not like this. And, given Anemonemist's already bad personality, this did not set the situation up well.
Anemonemist took a deep breath. Making an enemy out of her own Clanmate was pointless. There was no benefit, only consequence. She had to keep that in mind.
Carefully, the she-cat opened her eyes with a much kinder expression. Not friendly, but certainly not malevolent anymore. Ane had to befriend Brackensky. No, not befriend. She had to become trustworthy.
...No, she just had to get her way. This was important. Her health mattered. Didn't Brackensky understand that? "Look. Just let me see you're not sick, and then we can just go our separate ways. And if it's such an effort for you, and you seriously run away again, I can always get Cloverstar to order you to take this check-up. I rather not bother her, though, so can you just sit down for a minute and we can get this over with?"
Wow. Anemonemist didn't think she was capable of talking to much.

Brackensky certainly heard the loud cracking sound. She wondered if Anemonemist would lose any teeth. It certainly sounded as if she would. Soon enough, she found Anemonemist blocking the path. Well, technically Brackensky could jump over her. She wondered if Rockclanners were usually good jumpers... Brackensky had origins from outside the clan so she didn't necessarily follow the common build for your average Rockclanner.
Brackensky's expression wasn't any warmer than the cat standing on the opposite side of this conflict. She cocked her head. "And I thought medicine cats were supposed to heal and care, not guilt trip their clanmates into obedience." She returned. The silvery tabby knew what it was like to be sick. She knew she wasn't sick right now. She'd been sick, out on her own, not knowing if she'd die or get better at all. Such is the life of a loner in the midst of Leaf-bare.
Though, old habits were hard to break. She still didn't like anyone taking care of her.
Brackensky blinked slowly, unimpressed by Anemonemist's show of stubbornness. Then Anemone changed tactics. She had taken a deep breath, and the silvery medicine cat changed her expression. The tabby queen's expression however, did not.
She blinked once.
Twice.
"No."
Then Brackensky leapt fantastically over the speckled she-cat and this time, she really did run off. Given that she was a rather fast cat, one might encounter some difficulty keeping up with her.
((..... Brackensky shares the core personality traits with some of my other characters. One of them is a STRONG aversion/dislike of doctors/healers et cetera))

Anemonemist let out a deep sigh of annoyance once more as Brackensky commented on her tactics. And then, with a shocked expression, Ane ducked down upon realizing Brackensky was lunging forward. But instead, the Queen cleared over her head and bounded towards the exit of camp.
"Fox-dung!" Anemonemist hissed quietly under her breath, whipping around to race after her. The she-cat was fast, but Anemonemist hoped that being a constantly pregnant and birthing queen stuck in the nursery all day(that must suck), maybe the un-athletic medicine cat could keep up.
"I WILL go get Cloverstar!!" Anemonemist howled after Brackensky as she chased her out of camp. "Do you really want to get on HER bad side too?!"

Brackensky had almost commented on Anemonemist's ducking as she had escaped from the camp. It only made her attempt at fleeing easier. Hmph. She supposed despite the medicine cat's attitude, she wasn't well equipped or prepared for a difficult patient such as Brackensky.
Unfortunately for Anemonemist, Brackensky actually hadn't had any kits in a while. It had been at least a moon or two. Possibly three. More than enough time for her to recover properly, without accounting for the fact that she always took the time to exercise properly. Having kits wasn't an excuse to let herself fall into complacency. Call it paranoia from her times living on her own, but she found it better to be prepared for nothing than to be caught by surprise.
The quick footed Queen was unfortunately not exactly in decent danger of the medicine cat who clearly needed to get out catching up to her. She rolled her eyes as she continued to flee from the speckled she-cat yowling into the wind. "I'm sure Cloverstar will be thrilled to hear you failed to do a simple check-up on a Queen, tasked with the future generation!"
((I feel like they're just being mean to each other.... Also for some reason Brackensky is behaving differently from how I think I last remember RPing her.))

aaah dang, i really wanted Ane to find a friend in Brackensky...... aah well..
stalks past Bracken "y u onlii meen 2 Ane bby hwuh??"
Anemonemist was falling behind. Brackensky was fast-- dang it! Ane's only physical activity involved her great walks to the herb patches each day, which left her enough stamina to stay in listening distance of the fleeinh queen. But the rest of that time sitting in the medicine den certainly made those work outs pointless.
"WHO WILL CLOVERSTAR AGREE WITH, A FAT QUEEN WHO HAS TOO MANY KITS TO ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT WHO EACH ONE IS AND ALWAYS SETS HERSELF UP FOR GRIEF WHEN THOSE UGLY THINGS DIE, OR HER ONLY MEDICINE CAT WHO ACTUALLY DOES A DECENT JOB OF HER PROFESSION?!?!"
Yowling was the only way for Brackensky to hear her at this distance. And Anemonemist's last chance to make her stop. If this didn't work, she was perfectly ready to scream at Cloverstar about this. Adding probably three dozen bad things about Brackensky from her fury.
Anemonemist was going to rip Brackensky's fur off if she ever saw her again.

((I apologize for Bracken suddenly becoming extraordinarily irritating to Ane XD
whoops. at least they met lol))
Brackensky's quick speed and not insufficient stamina kept her ahead of Anemonemist, who apparently was able to at least stay within the silver tabby's earshot. Not to catch up with her, not by far. She wondered who would run out of energy first. Probably the speckled medicine cat.
"Are you calling me fat?" She yowled back, though it was blatantly clear from her tone, that it was mock-offense. One could also figure out quite easily that were they a reasonable distance apart from one another, Brackensky would not have raised her voice one level, even arching a fictional eyebrow at the medicine cat. Basically, be an asshole.
She wasn't going to answer the other remarks. Clearly, she wanted Brackensky to stop by flinging hurtful words. Did they hurt? Perhaps. On one paw, those sorts of words could hurt any cat. On the other, Brackensky tended allow stranger's insults to roll of her back with ease.

Anemonemist skidded to a halt, breathing hard and looking defeated for a moment. If Brackensky looked back, her face would turn stone-cold again. But for now, she simply let herself give up and let herself stop for a moment.
Brackensky was out of sight by now, probably. And she had won and lost.
Fine, get sick. Die. Don't ever visit me from CloudClan. Ane hissed to herself, turning away to go back to camp. She shivered from the cold, furious with the queen.
End thread?

((Sure. End of thread.))
Brackensky eventually came to a halt, looking over her shoulder. Anemonemist wasn't in sight anymore. She took a deep breath and continued walking on. She didn't really feel like going back and dealing with the silvery speckled she-cat at the moment. Yes, she was giving up the comfort of camp for a while but... She'd lived without it for far longer than she had. Her life as a loner had thus far held the majority of her life as opposed to her life as a clan cat. ((Want to RP in a diff clan on different accounts? You're a great RP buddy :3
((Anemonemist I've only got two Iceclanners and tbh... I lack muse for them. If you want to RP in TC, FC, or outclanners then I'm game.

Anemomemist let out a furious cry as she entered RockClan's camp, and she glared fiercely at any who met her sharp gaze.
