Why was a dubbed 'rogue' be wondering around the Twolegplace? Who knows. Definitely not said rogue, named Victor. The silvery-grey tom prances along a limestone fence, flicking his tail this way and that to keep his balance. Multiple times, echoes of distant barking had scared the graceful tom to the end of his toes, spiking up his fur and making him wince.
The long-furred tom stops to lick his roughened paws and looks around. He notes an odd black house, seemingly abandoned in exterior. Cobwebs hung from the windows and ivy clung to the rough bricked black exterior of the house. Victor decides to investigate and leaps down gracefully from the wall and onto the smooth brick pavement. He thinks he can smell another cat but he's not sure as the Twolegplace had clogged his nose with new scents.
Trotting through the front garden, the tall tom pauses to stretch and immediately hears the crunching of leaves being trodden on outside the gate, and then the gate swinging open. He darts away as a Twoleg walks into the house, meowing loudly. He doesn't notice the other feline coming in through the gate.

-ahh i wanted to reply to this earlier-
ghost purred as he followed his twoleg down the street as the two of them made their way towards their home. he had had nothing better to do that day so why not stalk your housefolk? he smiled as the gate came into view, speeding up a little as he walked through it, hearing it squeak slightly as it closed. his yellow eyes lit up as he finally stood in the front garden, happy to be home.
as the black and grey feline made his way towards the wooden door of the house, he sniffed the air and was greeted by the scent of another cat who was definitely not a kittypet. he quickly turned his head in the direction of the scent and his gaze met a long-furred grey tom. how did he not notice them there?
he tilted his head slightly as he turned away from the door and stepped in the direction of the rogue, sniffing the air quickly once again as he opened his mouth to speak, "umm, hello?" he said, sounding it out as a question.

Soft grey ears perk up as Victor hears something being said. He soon feels eyes sparking his pelt and he looks up, flinching and expecting to meet the slobbering face of a canine. Instead, his dappled blue eyes meet that of hard amber. He gapes slightly, backing away a little and crouching. His eyes widen further as he notes the collar.
The other feline, to say the least, looked extremely intimidating. The black spiked collar hanging around the kitty's neck seemed like a weapon and the black fur really didn't help. Victor tells himself to calm down, relax. He remembers what the other cat had said and decides to respond to that, at least. "...hello!" the long-furred tom manages a weak smile and a friendly flick of the tail.
"You're not going to hurt me, right?"

ghost couldn't help the small frown that graced his face when the grey rogue backed away from him. although, he also had a slight suspicion that the other cat was only faking their fear- a rogue surely wouldn't be scared of a kittypet like himself, right? he twitched his nose and whiskers.
the pitch black cat purred almost silently to try and seem less threatening- he didn't want to fight. his frown turned into a little smile when the long-furred tom replied to his greeting, seemingly nervous. ghost's ears flattened a little temporarily when he was asked if he would hurt the other cat. he shook his head and swished his tail, "no, i won't hurt you," he replied, "what's your name?" he asked, not wanting to seem rude.

Victor really wasn't a brave cat, to say the least. He noted the small frown that flittered across the other feline's face with a downward turn of his lips as well. He sniffs the air, determined to identify this cat and is met with a strong scent of Twoleg. So he was a kittypet. Victor had nothing against kittypets, being a former one himself, but the fact that he had been notably scared of this cat made his tail twitch with embarrassment.
When the other cat purrs, the graceful grey tom wonders if he's laughing at Victor's misplaced fear. But a logical part of his brain reasons that perhaps this kittypet is a kind soul. This theory is further proved by the little smile that graces the tom's face. "no, i won't hurt you." The long-furred cat relaxes at this and his theory is proven. "what's your name?"
"Victor, and yours? I'm sorry for freaking out like that~"

ghost gave a small smirk when the rogue twitched his tail in embarrassment, chuckling slightly. he shuffled forwards a little bit and sat down on the floor, purring.
ghost continued to smile as the other cat introduced themselves as 'victor'. it was a slightly strange name, but one he had heard twolegs say before. "it's nice to meet you, victor," ghost replied, introducing himself afterwards, "i'm ghost," he said softly, yellow eyes drifting towards the door of his house. "would you like to come in?" he asked.
