Honeykit breathed a sigh as she was given her apprentice name. The excitement she had felt before turned to relief. At least she wouldn't be cooped up in the nursery anymore.

((if Thornwatcher doesn't want to be a mentor anymore, what would happen?))

Thornwatcher smiles as he is allowed to mentor the young she-cat. He chants her name with the rest as he takes his place next to her. "Congratulations, you are going to make a fine warrior some day." He says warmly under his breath. he bends his head to touch noses

Honeykit, now Honeypaw, reaches up to touch noses with her mentor. "Thanks, but it really depends on how my mentor trains me," she laughs.

"HoneyPaw HoneyPaw" he cheers for his precious little daughter. He is even more delighted to see his best of friends was given to her as a mentor. He hoped to catch Thorns eye, while the ceremony came to a close. He beamed bright with pride, though he made it a point not to embarrass her to much. Staying seated he called her new name once more. "Honeypaw!"

❝ Honeypaw looked around the crowd after she had met with her mentor. She had never had so many cats looking at her or cheering for her before, it was slightly scary. Her nerves started to act up, but then she quickly spotted the face of her father and gave him a huge smile, at least she could relax if she could see someone she knew.
