Moonfur laughed a little, letting the tom stand back for her to go first. She hadn't gone out in the territory just for a walk, it was always along with hunting, or something like that. Of course now that she had an apprentice, that would change. The warrior headed towards the clan camp's exit- or entrance, whichever way you looked at it- looking back at Stormfrost every so often.

Stormfrost tried his best to keep up which wasn't too complicated due to his long legs. He was a large cat overall which made for an interesting display if he wanted to head into a den or out of one. He recalled when he used to go to the nursery to visit someone he would be talking to for a while. They hadn't spoken much since the last time he had visited... so maybe moons.

They walked in silence for some time as Moonfur walked alongside the older warrior. It was nice, she supposed, being out just for the sake of taking a break. Sure, it was cold, but it was still enjoyable. She looked over at Stormfrost, not sure what to say. Despite being the friendly cat she was, she was definitely not the best at conversations.

Stormfrost looked over at her and decided to try and start up a simple conversation. "This is probably one of the warmest leafbares I've experienced. Do you think it will stay this nice?" He asked, looking around. "Personally I don't mind the cold but it's not the worst thing in the world when newleaf comes along."

Moonfur nodded. "Yes, it's warmer than usual." she commented. Thinking about his question, she tilted her head a little, thinking. "Maybe it will.. if it gets colder, it probably won't be by too much." the warrior answered. "I'm all right with the cold for the most part, but that's true- it'll be good when newleaf comes." Moonfur said as she continued to walk, feeling the light breeze flow through her pelt.

He didn't really know what else to say. "Ah I feel like we are two cats that don't exactly know what to talk about. It shouldn't be this hard should it? I feel kind of goofy actually saying it aloud but really it shouldn't be that complicated." He tried thinking back to his training sessions with Swanpaw and how he started acting goofy and it seemed to bring out more entertainment. So he started bouncing on his paws a little bit which looked somewhat like a deer. "My apprentice finds it amusing when I goof off. I suppose it could help with the situation. I used to zoom all around for her hunting lessons before we went out into the territory and hunted real prey."

Moonfur laughed at his statement. "True, though, I'm not the best when it comes to conversations," she said. The she-cat smiled once again as he spoke about his apprentice. "I think my apprentice would be the one to do that," Moonfur added, thinking of her newest apprentice.

Stormfrost gave a nod and laughed at her remark about her apprentice. "Yeah well, it makes life a little more fun to fool around like a goof sometimes. Life's too short to be taken too seriously. We don't get out of life alive so might as well live while we can."
(school's got me so busy)
