Pain leapt up on to the tallest tree he could find in the center of camp "I have assumed the role of leader. Ash is no longer one of us and will not be returning!" He paused waiting for the backlash. He looked at Natalia still waiting. |

Natalia had followed Pain, easily making herself a seat on the branch below Pain. He'd chosen a higher branch, so there was room for her without sitting higher than the new leader of Deathclan.
She yawned. She wondered if anyone would kick up a fuss. She figured she could nip it in the bud. "Any of you who have a problem, do us all a favor and don't say anything. If you really have a problem with this, then you can see how you fare in a fight with Pain."

Patch had known Pain would gain leadership at some point at time. So when the tom had called out his leadership for all to hear, she didn't seem too surprised. She merely stared up at the two other cats and lowered her ears.
She looked around and waited for others to gather 'round. She felt like she should chip in on what Natalia said, but she knew better. She couldn't start fights, not here, not now. Patch sighed and waited to see if others were stupid enough to reject.

Sky slowly made her way into the clearing, staying near the edges, in the shadowed parts. She had no idea who this cat was, she didn't recognize his scent. She wasn't surprised someone managed to overpower Ash, by their meeting it wasn't hard to tell her leadership wouldn't last very long. Still, she was conflicted.
She kept her mouth shut, her nose pointed towards Natalia. It seemed her acquaintance was on this toms side, and she did remember her mentioning she would follow someone named Pain... She supposed this must be who had claimed leadership them, and waited for more cats to join. This was certainly a meeting worth waiting for.

Natalia shrugged. She wasn't a mind reader, even if she was fairly good at reading a situation. "Just so long as you plan to talk with your words. Not your claws." She amended, changing her words to fit Pain's more accurately. She rather doubted that Pain was thinking of the negotiations of the violent variety.

Pain gave her a nod of validation. He really didn't want an unstable clan for his current plans.

Cloud shifted uneasily unsure if she should trust Pain as leader. Keeping her mouth shut was probably the best. 'I guess everyone else accepts Pain as leader?' She thought uncomfortably.

Arwen blinked slowly in confusion, sitting front and center like a kit ready to hear a story. She had no objections, as she really didn't care what was going on. So long as this leader didn't get her killed, she was fine and dandy with him. She turned around to see who was all seated, doing a double take on Sky. Her jaw unhinged as she stared at the calico, her yellow eyes focusing on the gouging claw marks where the others should have been. She quickly looked away, eyes wide.

Sky stiffened as a feeling of being watched made her fur rise, baring her teeth slightly. She turned her head in the stalkers direction, pinpointing the scent easily. It was obviously younger than her, probably looking at her scars. She grinned lightly and opened her mouth in a threatening snarl, showing off her sharp teeth before focusing her attention back to Pain.

Root heard a gathering of cats and her not wanting to be alone anymore, approached the group to see a familiar cat. The scarred tom. 'That's the stranger who told you to stay in Deathclan! The one who said that the old leader was going to no longer be the leader!'
Root crawled herself into the group, eyes twinkling on the cat she sort of knew. "Wow! You did it!" she congratulated with a flip in the air. Not like she knew anyone else here.

Cloud looked at the strange cat who had spoke up during the meeting making everyone stare. She walked over to the she-cat "Hi you must be a new member of Deathclan do you wanna come sit over by me?" She asked. Hoping that this cat wouldn't get her fur torn off because of interrupting the meeting.

Cloud stared blankly at Pain and then gave him a small nod of respect. "I see, my apologies." Cloud said as she simply walked away. 'I was just trying to be friendly.' She thought with a small pout.
