Flamingthorn | Grayshade | Liongrowl | Spottedwillow | Anemonemist
It was halfmoon and that meant it was the night of another medicine cat meeting. The young golden mackeral slid out of the Fireclan medicine cat den and noticed that Grayshade was out -- maybe she forgotten about tonight, but she could catch up with him later. Honeyfur took in the smells of the night, watching as returning warriors made their way to their dens for the night, and with that he headed over the the shimmering rocks.
There, he waited for the others to show up.

Liongrowl padded to the Shimmering Rocks, glad that there was a medicine cat meeting. It had been a while since he had talked to another medicine cat. Thankfully tonight would change that. He didn't have too much news to deliver tonight, however, he just had a few things to say. The orange tom knew that there weren't too many things going on in the way of cats getting ill in his clan but he didn't know how others fared.
He padded towards the Shimmering Rocks, noticing another cat was already there. "Hey there- nice night tonight," he greeted the other tom.

Honeyfur wouldn't have noticed that someone else was here if the orange tom did not speak up. The tom turned around a nodded his head. "It's better than most that I've had lately honestly," he responded. "You're from Treeclan, right? You smell really . . . fresh. Can you climb trees too?"

Liongrowl gave a nod. "Yep; Liongrowl of TreeClan." He appeared amused at the other tom's remark on his scent. Fresh? "Well thanks I guess. As for climbing trees... oh sure. Definitely. Haven't done much of it lately but yes I can manage climbing a tree or two." The last time he climbed a tree? He didn't know. But he definitely knew he had.

"I haven't climbed a tree in ages!" Frostbreeze purred as she walked towards the other medicine cats. "Hope i'm not intruding." She said before sitting down and tucking her tail over her paws.

Liongrowl turned his gaze towards the arrival of another medicine cat. "No, not intruding at all." He hadn't seen this medicine cat at other meetings so he supposed that she was a new one. "As I just said to Honeyfur over here, I'm Liongrowl of TreeClan. You must be a new medicine cat, I've heard a new one or two were being instated. What's your name?"

"My name is Frostbreeze i'm one of Iceclan's medicine cats." She said. "You must be Liongrowl correct one of Treeclan's medicine cats?" She asked the tom.

Her stiff steps instantly stopped the moment dusty blue eyes spotted the three figures ahead of her. Her determination to just go and get this whole traditional healer-meeting-thing over with fell apart in seconds at the sign of company. Oh CloudClan. She hated socializing.
'I should have lied to Cloverstar and said I was ill tonight.' the RockClan she-cat huffed, fighting the bristling of her silvery speckled fur. 'I really don't like coming to these meetings.'
She recognized Honeyfur of FireClan and Liongrowl of TreeClan. That helped a bit, at least. As Anemonemist drew closer, she was given the name of the unfamiliar one, and instantly a deep sigh escaped her lips just from annoyance of the whole affair. 'Now there's another name I have to remember.'
"How long are we going to wait for everyone this time?" the healer growled right away, not offering up an introduction, and sitting herself down beside the others. Her eyes shot to Liongrowl and Honeyfur, ignoring the new medicine cat Frostbreeze at first, besides giving a frustrated twitch of an ear towards the IceClanner's direction.

Liongrowl gave a nod in response to Froztbreeze's question. "Yes I am of TreeClan." He gave a fluff of his orange fur to protect him against any of the cold. This was leafbare after all. Without too much of a different expression he turned over to the arriving she cat, Anemonemist. She seemed a little grouchy this day which made Liongrowl a little surprised but at the same time he wasn't very active in his duties which gave him a mixture of feelings...
He shifted his gaze over to Anemonemist again and said, "Perhaps now that we have one from each clan we could just start and see when others show up if they manage to." He offered.

heheh yay, friends c:
Honeyfur listened to Liongrowl, when Frostbreeze, Iceclan's newest medicine cat arrived. He blinked, wondering how the cold clan was doing. Were they still living at the farm, or were they back in the mountains now? He was going to ask about that - until Anemonemist showed up, asking when the meeting would start.
'Thank Cloudclan that she's not an elder in Fireclan,' he joked to himself. The tom straightened up at Liongrowl's suggestion to start now. "Right. Since we're all representing each clan, I think we're good."

As each of the medicine cats fell into sleep, a representative from Cloudclan would come to visit each.
HONEYFUR When Honeyfur awoke he was momentarily alone, in a large clearing. A low stream hemmed the clearing in a perfect circle, quietly trickling along its way. Out of the mist appeared a young cat, a Fireclan warrior by the name of Thymefrost, the daughter of Forestbreak, the medicine cat prior to Honeyfur's predecessor.
The normally flamboyant she-cat was quiet as she approached Honeyfur, though she offered him a smile. "Welcome, Honeyfur," she intoned. "Your new leader will wash through Fireclan with a tide of change. But be warned, enough water will quench any fire, no matter how fierce. Remain vigilant and remember your duty to keep balance within the clan." Her visage remained a heartbeat longer before blurring and then ultimately fading away, leaving Honeyfur with a moment's silence before the sound of rushing water became louder. Honeyfur wakes from his dream with the vision of the flooded stream rushing towards him.
LIONGROWL Liongrowl is greeted by Spiritstar when he awakes in a dense forest. The Treeclan leader from generations past approaches the young medicine cat with a smile, holding his gaze for a brief moment before speaking. "Liongrowl, greetings. I hope this is the first of many times that we speak." The leader sits and curls her tail neatly around her paws. She has seen many medicine cats come and go in her time, and sees great potential in Liongrowl.
"Treeclan has always provided a home for those who have none, and our kindness has borne fruit time and time again in the great cats that rise to lead it." Beechstar had not been the first rogue-born cat to rise to leadership, but he was one of the most fondly remembered. Now there was another, Arrowstar, who was also born outside Treeclan. "Remember your teachings my child, you will soon find grave use for them. Do not be afraid to stand up, our blood is not all that we are, yet some are blinded by it." She fades away silently, leaving Liongrowl to wake in his own time.
FROSTBREEZE It is Firestorm that appears before Frostbreeze. The aged calico approaches the new medicine cat quietly, her gaze sharp and searching. Firestorm was the very first medicine cat of Iceclan, and she knows how to look for potential in the cats she visits. She has seen Iceclan grow into a great clan after her demise, and wishes for it to continue doing so. She does not sit, but rather circles the young medicine cat, watching her steadily without blinking.
"You have potential," she finally mutters, flicking her starry ears. Firestorm approaches Frostbreeze from behind and leans into her ear. "Hunger comes from within, and without. Share what you have or all will go hungry," she whispered, less talking about Frostbreeze than she was Iceclan as a whole. "You will understand." With a last flick of her tail, Firestorm paused to offer the young she-cat the briefest of smiles, and then disappeared.
ANEMONELIGHT Anemonelight awakens to find herself standing on a high pillar, far above the cloudline. She is surrounded by a lake of starlight and clouds. In front of her, another pillar rises, a red cat standing upon it. He is Redspirit, the brief deputy of Rockclan before Hawktalon, and the previous mate of Redfern, a still-alive Rockclan warrior. The red warrior lifts his head, the black stripes on his pelt invisible against the backdrop.
"It is nice to meet you Anemonelight," he says earnestly. He has seen far too many cats come and go through Rockclan, and to have her steady presence has brought him home. "Even the most beautiful of flowers will die. Even the sturdiest of rocks, will someday fall." His gaze softens with the warning. "I mean this for you, and for your clan my dear." His visage is already starting to fade but the tom clearly fights it for just a brief second more. "Watch the water, and when the snow grows high and the rock wears low, you will know where to build your wall." Then, his message passed on, the red tabby fades into nothingness."
One by one the medicine cats awaken in their own time, their dreams completed.

(Okay this looks kinda cool actually)
Liongrowl fell into sleep and appeared in a dense forest. Huh? He lifted his head up, beginning to look around at the world around him. It seemed weird at first then suddenly he was greeted by Spiritstar. The tom gulped, it was always amazing to him when he was able to speak to people in high places. Those from the past, CloudClan spirits in general regardless of how recent their passing was. "I honestly can say the same thing as far as conversations go." He continued to listen to Spiritstar and his orange fluffy ears pricked forward. The tom couldn't help but feel as if there was deeper meaning and he tried to place it together. Is TreeClan going to be joined by other cats? Other clans need harboring? My teachings? Medicine? He blinked wide eyed. All he felt was that something bad was going to happen but he didn't know when or how for that matter.
The orange tom's breathing became normal again as he woke up. What's going to happen? He looked around at the other cats and he guessed that he was the first to awake from the dream. This will be very interesting indeed...

{ I, personally, love this new approach! It makes being a medicine cat a lot more magical like this, and really feels like a scene from the original series! }
Anemonemist's eyes opened slowly, wincing for a moment at the sudden intrusion of little light rays. Her misty blue eyes opened fully, a bit surprised to find herself surrounded by all sides from an endless lake of stars and clouds. The RockClan medicine cat peered around, realizing she was atop of a great pillar in the middle of all this mess, and she breathed a sigh of relief at not being afraid of heights.
Her interests were drawn to a steadily rising pillar across from her, and especially to the cat settled on this one, like she herself was. His red fur certainly caught her attention, although Anemonemist was not very familiar with him personally. Or, at all really.
The nameless tom greeted her, and suspicion is instinctively pooled together in Anemonemist's gaze not even a moment later. But she remained quiet, and listened intently for CloudClan's message-- because it didn't take a genius to remember what this was about, and how she got here.
"Even the most beautiful of flowers will die. Even the sturdiest of rocks, will someday fall."
Her suspicion lost touch with her at the ominous words, and Anemonemist allowed a slightly worried expression to cross her features. Never had she received a warning before. This sent shivers down her spine without even a second thought. But what did it mean?
"Watch the water, and when the snow grows high and the rock wears low, you will know where to build your wall."
Anemonemist blinked in alarm at his fading form. She tried to take a step forward, but she lacked the ground to do so. "Wait--!" But she doesn't even finish her sentence before the blackness takes over her vision all at once, and the tomcat has vanished.
~~
Anemonemist awakened with a soft gasp escaping her lips, foggy eyes wide in shock at what she'd just been shown. 'Wait... wait, wait, wait... did that really happen?' she thought, mulling over the warnings the red tomcat had given her. For some reason, his words were ringing so clearly inside her head.... Most dreams left memories fuzzy. But not this one. Not this one at all.
She glanced around, noticing Liongrowl was out of CloudClan's realm as well. She paused for only a moment longer, before the healer collected her emotions together and put on a bored mask once more.
"...I'm going back to my Clan." Anemonemist growled, standing up with a sharp lash of her tail. She needed time to consider the warnings by herself. And she needed time to decide who to tell them to. Obviously Cloverstar, and possibly the deputy Flamepath. But... anyone else?
Anemonemist scowled and turned to leave, not even glancing over her shoulder once. "Bye, Liongrowl." she called, at least making an effort to point out the only awake medicine cat. These were the type of cats to stay friendly with, after all.

(Ciao; I know it's been a while, but ayyeeee I'm back for now at least.)
Sageleaf hadn't been to a medicine cat meeting in a long time. She'd not attended one, or really cared how they went. After all, the living world wasn't really her concern or problem, lest something awful like a Clan war happen. The only contact she'd really had was dreamwalking with past apprentices and siblings. So, it surprised even her when she found herself following her fell CloudClanners to that month's medicine cat meeting. Finally arriving at her destination, she took a seat in the shadows of the medicine cats' minds, hoping (or maybe not) not to be noticed. She soon realized that she'd come to late; the meddie kitties had already woken up.

(sorry it's been so long)
Frostbreeze opened her eyes slowly before quickly moving to her paws. Pricking her ears she scanned the area for any of her Iceclan ancestors. As she looked around her gaze fell upon Firestorm, Iceclan's first medicine cat. She didn't dare to move as the old calico approached her. Firestorm's eyes seemed to be searching for something while she slowly circled Frostbreeze.
"You have potential," the she-cat finally muttered. Before Frostbreeze could reply Firestorm leaned into her ear from behind. "Hunger comes from within, and without. Share what you have or all will go hungry." As she said that the words seemed to send chills through her whole body. "Wait what do you mean?!" Frostbreeze asked desperately, but the medicine cat dismissed her question with a flick of her tail "you will understand." As Firestorm faded she gave Frostbreeze a quick smile, and disappeared.
Opening her eyes once again she looked around making sure she was back at Shimmering Rocks. Letting out a small sigh of relief she stood up, and left without a word. To caught up in her thoughts to notice much else.
