"The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting."
Puma observed the mouse from where she sat on a log, her blue eyes focused.. This was not your classic game of cat and mouse. She did not know how to hunt, so she didn't. She watched as he approached the berries she had set up, and fell into her trap, a hole carefully covered by leaves. Puma padded over to her hole proudly, and looked down at the mouse, who was still alive. She wasn't sure how to kill it and decided to bite its neck. She misjudged her bite and blood started pouring everywhere. It spurted all over her face and into her eyes, and she shrieked. The scene looked like it belonged in a Tarantino movie. Puma huffed and dropped what was definitely the messiest kill of felinekind.

[these two could probably do some learning together]
Flower drifted slowly through the territory of a pseudo clan he had recently joined. He didn't really know the lay of the land yet, like at all, so he drifted. The black tom supposed that he should also get a good den sooner rather than later. There was so much to do and instead he just wandered. There wasn't exactly a billion things for him to do, just a pawfull of very important things to do that he was putting off.
One of those things that happened to be hunting. Flower wasn't the best at combat, hunting included, but he knew enough that he could stay alive and catch easy prey well enough. So when he smelled the mouse he turned his wandering towards that scent. There was another scent alongside the mouse and for a split second Flower was trying to discern what it was before the coppery scent of blood and a shriek arose from the direction of the mouse and a cat.
Flower poked his head out of the bushes to see what all the ruckus was about, half expecting to see a cat dying somehow. At first glance they didn't seem too far off. The cat that had screeched was covered in blood and Flower almost thought that they were dying, but they noticed the mangled mouse and scrunched up their nose before stepping fully into the view of the other cat. "Darling, what's with the mess?" He questioned and he looked between the blood covered cat, a hole in the ground that looked like some sort of trap, and the mangled mouse. Flower, for the life of him, couldn't figure out what had happened here. Surely this hasn't been some attempt of hunting? Even he wasn't that bad.
