Cherrykit hesitated, not yet letting him up, savoring her apparent victory. "..Admit I got you!" She snarled playfully, batting at his ears with a sheathed paw.

Thunderkit struggled but then stopped. "Okay, okay! You got me..." He admitted. There didn't appear to be a way for him to get up without admitting so.

Her gold eyes shining, Cherrykit did as agreed, jumping off of Thunderkit and landing beside him. "I'm gonna be the best warrior ever!" She announced proudly, purring. "I'm gonna be leader, and you can be my deputy."

Thunderkit smiled. "Good. Thunderblaze should be the best deputy ever! Alongside the best leader ever." He said, hoping up and giving Cherrykit a nudge in the side. "Perhaps we'd be a better team side by side versus fighting each other," the fluffy tom offered.

Cherrykit's purr deepened, rising in her throat as she pressed her pelt against Thunderkit's. "I can't wait until we're apprentices. We're gonna make the best warriors ever, then we can fight together."

Thunderkit heard her purr and couldn't help but purr a bit himself. It quite surprised him. "We're gonna be the best." He smiled, feeling quite content with the way his kit days are turning out to be. "You're my bestest friend you know?"

"I am?" Cherrykit blinked, tilting her head. She'd never had a best friend before, and felt extremely pleased with herself. "Okay, well, you're my best friend!" She exclaimed in return, and nuzzled him slightly.

Thunderkit gave a nod. "Awesome!" He wondered if it was odd for her to hear due to her first reaction. She seemed almost puzzled. His fur grew warm when she nuzzled him in embarrassment. He tried to shrug it off. "I wonder if we will have the same mentor? It would be awesome to get to train together. Though they might take us out separately regardless." It wasn't a happy thought but at the same time he could learn something different and show her later.
