Seakit blinked his eyes open. He had opened his eyes for the first time a few days before, but he still wasn't used to the dim sunlight filtering into the nursery. The blue kitten stood up from his moss nest, stretching his front paws and curling his fluffy tail. He blinked his eyes several times again, looking around for any other kits. He was still considerably smaller than most kits, although his long, fluffy fur made up for a part of it.
He was about to start walking around when he felt a paw tread on his tail.

"Oh, sorry!" Cherrykit's eyes widened as she accidentally treaded on a rather fluffy kit's tail. She took a step back, her tail going between her legs and her gold eyes widening. "I wasn't looking where I was going, I didn't mean to.." She felt totally awful, even though it probably wasn't that big of a deal. The bobtail didn't recognize the tom-kit either, meaning that his first impression of her would be her stepping on his tail. Great.

Seakit gave a squeak and turned around to stare at the other kit. "Oh! uh, It's fine, really," he mewed, tail flicking, but not badly hurt. He tilted his head at the shecat. His amber eyes searched her face thoughtfully. "Who... Are you?" he asked boldly.

Cherrykit relaxed a little bit, it seemed that the tom wasn't upset with her for her mistake. "Oh, uh. I'm Cherrykit." She introduced herself, dipping her head for a moment. "What's your name?" She asked, her head tilted to the side, and her eyes shining.
