Patch lowered her ears and hissed. Rats were such savages, ugly little critters. They spread disease and caused death to her clanmates. "Well I have a new addition to the kill list." She muttered, raising her head. "He did. He was a good warrior, and cat in general. Should we tell Pain..? Give him a proper vigil or something."

Natalia growled. "Tch. Would he even care?" She shook her head. "What's the point of just... Standing over his grave, or something? He's dead, nothing will change that." She rejected the idea of holding vigil for Jude mostly... Because she didn't want to think about him or how he was dead anymore. She wanted something else to throw herself into, to lose herself in it. Then, maybe it would hurt less.

"Pain should care, as a leader and a cat in general." Patch retorted, shaking her head. She sighed a continued. "But... Yeah, that's kinda it. You say a few goodbyes, comfort each other." She paused, and thought.
"No, that was a bad idea. I don't want Jude to feel the pain Night felt because of cats weeping over them." The she-cat then fell silent, tears forming in her eyes.

Natalia gritted her teeth. "Should? Doesn't mean he will." Came the pessimistic reply. She shook her head. "So, you're basically admitting it's pointless." She growled.
She didn't know who Night was, but at this point she didn't care. She really wanted to hit something and make it bleed. Maybe find those stupid rats and tear apart every single last one of them. Then leave them out for crowfood, see how they like it!

Patch glanced off to the side. She stayed silent, not knowing how to respond. She just turned her blurry, watery gaze at Natalia and nodded. She felt a flash of pain in her head. Patch sat down and stared at her paws.

Natalia stubbornly remained silent as well, glaring at the ground. She didn't want to talk to Patch. She didn't want to do it at all. She felt like she'd gone through most of the stages of grief in the wrong order, and now she was stuck on anger. She really just wanted to rip something's head off its shoulders.
((.... are they just.... going to do this..... uhm.....))

((Idk...
Patch sighed, and stood up. She blinked a couple of times and padded towards Natalia. "Um... Take your time with getting better. Nobody's rushing you." She murmured, taking a step back. She didn't know what the heck was going on in the other's head, but something told Patch not to question. She took another step back reluctantly.

((.... tbh i think maybe we should end it if they're just going to sit in silence tbh.))
Natalia didn't think things would ever get better, but she didn't really feel like responding to Patch. The cat was beginning to back away, and honestly? The tabby wanted to be left alone. She didn't want to have to deal with anyone else. She really didn't. She just wanted to be alone. She didn't know for how long. Maybe forever.

((Yeah .-.
Patch blinked, and glanced in a few different directions. She finally sighed, murmured a small 'goodbye' and turned around. She paused, and ran quickly.
