[this thread is for Sky ]
Flower yawned as he sat beneath an old, nearly dead, tree. It was moonhigh and he probably should have been sleeping, but the black tom enjoyed the night so after a long time tossing and turning in his nest he figured that he might as well just go for a walk. The walk hadn't lasted very long before he settled down beneath the tree and tried to decide what he should do next. Flower didn't really feel like sleeping yet, despite how much he felt like he should, so there had to be something else he could do.
Slowly his eyes turned toward the night sky. Flower shrugged and decided the next best thing to do would probably be to climb the tree.
The tree reed he was sitting beneath was too small and look like any of the branches might fall if he even tried to climb on them, so Flower wandered further away from that tree and found a bigger and sturdier looking one. It wasn't really one of the largest ones, but it would do for a nice little midnight climb. The actual climbing of the tree was very slow going and generally Flower was just trying not to fall or hurt himself. He enjoyed climbing so he didn't really mind it, but he also knew that he wasn't really the best climber, so slow and steady it was.
When he neared the top of the tree Flower slowed even more. He ended up gazing out at the sky more so than anything else. Soon he was just sitting on a single branch instead of actually climbing anymore. He yawned once again as he gazed at the stars. It really was a nice night, too bad that all he wanted to do was sleep.
Flower looked over in the direction that his den was located and sighed. He supposed that he should probably just go back and at least try to sleep. So after one last gaze out at the night sky the black tom hopped off of the branch that he had currently been on.
Unfortunately it seemed like Flower might have climbed a bit too high though as almost immediately as he landed on a thinner branch it snapped under her weight. The shock made his timing sloppy and he wasn't able to claw his way onto a different branch in time. Instead he plummeted towards the ground, hitting more than a couple branches on the way down, which he really only bounced off of instead of managing to grab hold. The branches slowed his descent enough so that he didn't get super seriously injured and instead when he hit the ground he just yelped.
Flower groaned and assed what was wrong with himself. Nothing too bad. There was a couple small cuts and a lot of bruises already forming, but nothing seemed to be broken really. He looked up as he heard something and saw a she-cat standing before him. Once again Flower released a groan and let his face fall into the dirt. Now he might just die of embarresment instead of whatever non existent wounds he had. "If you're here to kill me just get it over with." He mumbled, not really meaning it.

(Sorry its short, and late. I don't have a lot of muse but I thought I would get it done while I'm free.)
Sky had never been able to sleep well. Without eyes, it proved to be a lot more difficult then it should have. Every noise sent her fur on edge, so most nights she only pretended to sleep. Its not like most would know the difference. She stiffened as a cool breeze blew past her, sending the small branch she had curled up on whipping from side to side. She knew she would be safe, in a way, in the higher branches. It was too dangerous for her to risk going up in the tree and getting stuck.
Sky jerked into a sitting position when a few branches in the tree near hers were shifted. At first she thought it was the wind, though when it continued it was apparent another cat had a restless night. She wasn't one to try and make nice with strangers, so she minded her own business.
That is, until branches began snapping. Based on the cats scrambling claws against bark and the multiple branches snapping, she assumed he was falling. She didn't do anything other than perk her ears in the strangers direction, curious to see if it would kill him. She was sure how high he had gone, though considering her only yelped he wasn't very hurt.
She forced herself to stand, leaping off the low hanging branch. She moved towards the strong scent of unknown uncertainly, a fictional brow raised. "You seem optimistic." Sky snorted at his odd statement, curling her lips in an amused smile.
"Good to know you aren't dead." She tilted her head, keeping her distance. She wasn't sure if he was hostile or not.
