Almondpaw knew that she had to clean the nursery before she could become a warrior. The young cat padded into the nursery carrying fresh moss and bracken in her jaws. 'This is the last time I have to do this.' She hoped that no kits would come and bother her and she began to clean out the old dirty bedding.

Burntkit stared blankly at the apprentice, eyeing the moss and bracken. The grey tabby tilted her head and watched the other cat. She narrowed her eyes and murmured in a calm, slightly cold voice. "You need help, miss?" She wasn't one for being social, but she felt bad doing nothing.

Almondpaw growled at the kit.
"No, you'll just get in the way kit. Move along." She muttered after changing the moss in another nest.

Burntkit paused for a second, rather used to this behavior from her siblings, who most of have disappeared. She smiled a little bit and straightened up, "No, I'll stay over here dear. I can't get in the way over here." She purred. She simply watched, ready to comment on every other move.

Almondpaw ignored the kit and continued with cleaning out the bedding. She lined the nests with the bracken she had brung in. She piled the dirty moss up before glaring at the kit. "Stay there then."

"No need to be so rude." Swankit piped in with a snarl, rolling her eyes dramatically. Not that the kit wasn't being annoying, she got a bad feeling about this apprentice. Swankit moved forward, 'tripping' and knocking a nest to the side, sending its contents scrambling in every direction. "Oops." She smirked, her head held high, waiting to see her reaction.
