Jaguarkit wandered into the nursery, keeping close to the entrance and along the wall. He didn't want to get trapped in the nursery by any goofballs known as other kits and he most definitely didn't want to be questioned by a queen for his whereabouts. He hadn't done much anyway, just was out and about in the camp. It was not too interesting other than the fresh kill pile. Jaguarkit enjoyed seeing the warriors come back from the territory with prey as it meant his dinner. Unfortunately the thoughts of food couldn't last too long. He hid back in the corner by the den entrance, waiting to see who was wandering into the den and he pounced.

Applekit scowled as she trotted her sorry self back to the nursery, ears folded and head bowed in shame. She hadn't even made it a fox-length outside before some grumpy warrior had caught her, and very angrily told her go back to her momma or "there would be consequences". What a party pooper. As Applekit made her way to the entrance of the den, sulking too much to notice her surroundings, she felt something furry and silver suddenly jump onto her body, causing Applekit to scream and scramble backwards. She tried to bat off whatever (or whoever) her attacker was with her paws. "Agh! Get off, get off!"

Jaguarkit let her up and backed off a little bit to the side. He looked over at the younger kit and didn't think she looked familiar. She must be a very young or new kit then. He knew a few other kits and his ability to get along with them was somewhat ... off. Whenever a kit seemed to be very nice he tried to reciprocate the behavior but it wasn't always easy unless he could annoy someone else in the process. "Who are you? I haven't seen you around." He wanted to be better behaved since his apprentice ceremony was coming up, or at least he was reaching the age, so he just tried to make the best of things. "Didn't mean to hurt you if I did."

Applekit quickly stood up as her attacker decided to back off, fur puffed up and mouth twisted in a frown. She shook herself off then faced her attacker - a slim, silver tom - and her eyes widened. "Oh! It was you! Who are you?" Applekit chriped, anger quickly replaced with excitement. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad waiting it out in here after all? She flashed a grin. "I'm Applekit! I've only been out of the nursery once, maybe that's why you don't know me?" She decided to leave out the fact that her only 'outing' resulted in a scolding. "You didn't hurt me! You were only playing, right? I like to play as well."

Jaguarkit was tempted to say no but at the same time he decided to break down and say, "Yeah I guess I was playing." He shifted his feet, not really nervous but more of it was something to do. "Well, I'm Jaguarkit. Yeah that's probably why." Jaguarkit returned to the thought that Applekit had said she liked playing. "Well, anything you like to play in particular?"
