( Arrowstar - forgive the title) Liongrowl had heard of his leader. And seen him. Of course the whole CloudClan and getting stars xyz happened. He hadn't really gotten to know Arrowstar though. The medicine cat had heard from others about him and to be honest he had to check out this cat himself. "Arrowstar?" He called, remaining outside the front of the leader's den in a way to be respectful to the other male. Liongrowl of course wasn't really one to keep others out of his den or wanted them to wipe their feet off before they entered. His den was open day or night, though being a medicine cat that was quite necessary. "You in here?" Where else would he be? He wondered. Though he knew leader had free reign of whatever. Kind of like a king in a way. |

For once, Arrowstar was actually in his den. The grayish leader's ears pricked at the sound of the medicine cat's voice. "You may enter," he answered, sitting up and swiftly making his fur look half way decent. The tom waited for his medicine cat to enter before speaking. "Liongrowl. How may I help you?"

Liongrowl gave a dip of his head in respect before walking into the leader's den. "There's nothing really that I need help with. I just thought it suiting to come congratulate the leader of his nine lives." He decided to wait a few moments before continuing as he was debating what Crystalbird had told him. "I've only really gotten to talk with the deputy so I thought it would be interesting to get to know the leader as well if you don't mind. I know some are more private than others when it comes to things though... trust me." He was referring to the conversation he had the other day with Crystalbird. It was very.. interesting. She enjoyed her privacy.

Arrowstar gave him a surprised look before nodding. "Well, thank you." It was probably very obvious how new this was to the leader. "I don't mind at all. It is better to get to know my clanmates than never know them, in my opinion." The tom nodded once again. "I don't have many secrets, fortunately, so whatever you wish to know, I'll tell you."

Liongrowl looked at him, grateful that he wouldn't be nearly so secretive as Crystalbird was. He couldn't really think of a good way to form his first question by beating around the bush so he decided just to come up with an upfront and direct question. "How have you been since the receiving of your stars from CloudClan? Anything unusual happen?" He hadn't had a dream with CloudClan in a little while. They seemed to be distant to him sometimes and he wondered if Arrowstar knew anything about CloudClan's behaviors lately.

Arrowstar paused for a moment before speaking. "I've been fine. I'm actually glad that I've gotten them, though it was unfortunate to lose Spiderstar. He was a good leader. But..." The tom paused, almost hesitating. "When I went to get my lives, there were two other cats there, both claiming to become leaders of their clans as well. Jackalfrost was there, the FireClanner. And some cat from IceClan was there as well, no one I've ever heard of." He gave the medicine cat a worried look. "That's not a normal occurrence. What could've happened to lose three leaders from three clans?"

Liongrowl listened intently to his new leaders words and did feel quite saddened by the mention of Spiderstar. It was a very unfortunate thing to lose such a good leader. He was one that Liongrowl was sure many kits would look up to. "It is very unfortunate to have lost someone that meant a lot to our clan. CloudClan is taking care of him now as he walks with them." The orange tom looked down for a moment and then back at his leader again. "Honestly I'm not so sure. I've spoken with CloudClan, seeking guidance recently. There was something odd that I came across in the conversation. I'm not sure if it is in my right to say but it seems as if the bad isn't over."

Arrowstar nodded, suddenly feeling such a huge weight pressing down on his shoulders. Would he ever be able to reach Spiderstar's level? He was starting to doubt his ability to lead. Liongrowl mentioned CloudClan, my ears pricking. "Really? They sent you a message?" he asked in awe. He hadn't been sure they had sent messages any recently. He sighed when the medicine cat announced the bad was going to continue. "At least we're getting stronger. Perhaps it'll get better soon?" Arrowstar was curious to what he learned...

Liongrowl hesitated to speak since he hated trying to deliver bad news, especially to those above him. "At the medicine cat meeting I walked in a dream with CloudClan. There was something about how our clan has managed many times to take in others around us and help in time of need. For example, I will have to help in a time of need by using my teachings as a medicine cat. Which it is safe to say I'll be needing to use my herbs relatively soon... at least that's what I believe. I'm wondering if we will have to harbor cats from another clan or cats outside of the clans. I don't know... and I don't know why or how this is going to happen." He looked away from his leader as he felt ashamed he couldn't help fill in answers to the puzzle and yet he uncovered more questions.

Arrowstar gave him an interested look when he mentioned the ream. But it didn't seem anything out of the ordinary. "We always take in outsiders in need. And we're careful about it as well... I don't see what will happen to start some kind of battle. All the cats here are willing to accept outsiders," the leader said, shaking his head as he thought things over. "What do you think, Liongrowl? Should we lessen our intake on taking in outsiders?"

Liongrowl shook his head and wasn't entirely sure if either one of them were interpreting this correctly. "No but I believe that we may need to help another clan. Something bad might happen to another clan and we might need to take in refugees for the time being. At least while they are rebuilding their clan. Though I believe it will be on all three of the other clans to take in others. I didn't exactly get much insight from the other medicine cats. One was a bit ready to leave seemingly even before she got there." He shook his head at the thought of the impatient medicine cat. He could understand to a limit though.

Arrowstar just nodded, pondering the suggestion for a moment. Help another clan? Would he be able to if that clan was FireClan for instance? Perhaps... if he had to. "I suppose we'll find out the moment the time comes then, yes? We won't stop letting in outsiders. If they can prove themselves to be loyal, we will continue to welcome them," he meowed.
