Briarpaw

Jaguarkit wandered into the nursery. He hadn't had the chance to make too many friends and apprenticeship wasn't too far away for him so he'd better get a move on. What if he didn't have any friends once he became an apprentice? Well.. he had one at least. But this was his chance for more.

(Don't worry about how many words. I could honestly do whatever so just do whatever and I'll follow suit)

[Briarpaw]

Briarkit was one of the younger kits in the nursery. 

She hadn't been alive for very long but the maine coon kitten didn't really care. Sighing, she leapt out of her mother's nest before watching a small spider climbing up the nursery walls. Briarkit stared at it with glowing amber eyes, a small smile spreading across her face. "Wow..." 

[Jaguarpaw]

Jaguarkit spotted a fellow kitty cat in the nursery and wandered over, curious to see what they were up to. He saw the spider on the wall. "That would not be a good thing to find in a nest huh?" He looked over at her and said, "I'm Jaguarkit. You can call me Jay if you want. Who are you?" It was his best attempt to be friendly and more often than not he was better with she cats than toms anyway.

[Briarpaw]

Briarkit didn't take her eyes off of the spider.

"It's not gonna get in your nest if your worried about that. Anyways I think it's cool." The she-cat murmured before eyeing him. "Don't you dare squish it, ok." The maine coon then decided to finally introduce herself. "Briarkit."

[Jaguarpaw]

Jaguarkit shook his head, eyeing the spider. "I wouldn't think of it. Besides I'm not worried about it wandering into my nest. I don't think many would dare do that to me." He looked over at her again. "Briarkit huh? That's nice. Haven't heard that one before..."

[Briarpaw]

Briarkit narrowed her eyes.

"Of course your worried, you don't like the spider don't ya. I know that most cats don't. Anyways I would dare do that to you." The she-cat murmured before her gaze fixed on the spider once more. "Well I'm lucky to have a name that not many cats have. I haven't heard the name 'Jaguar' either."

[Jaguarpaw]

He didn't have a good feeling about her being so open to the idea of daring to put a spider in his nest. He'd make sure that he checks his nest from now on. Another few moments of nonsense to do before bed. "Well don't. And yeah I guess the names tend to be as unique as the person who bears them." He warned her not to and at the same time managed to slide in a compliment or a comment at least about her name.

[Briarpaw]

Briarkit kept on staring at the spider before letting it crawl onto her paw. It tickled but the tabby didn't really care. "Want to hold it?"

[Jaguarpaw]

Jaguarkit looked over at Briarkit and held his paw out. "I guess so. I've never really held a spider before. I shouldn't expect to be bitten right?" He asked.

(It's cool)

[Briarpaw]

Briarkit looked at the spider. 

"It might bite you, it might not. Depends if it likes you or not." She murmured before meowing again. "Hold your paw out and let it crawl onto you."

[Jaguarpaw]

Jaguarkit held out a paw, not really afraid of the spider. "I'm sure it won't mind." He let the spider crawl onto him and it felt weird. He seemed to feel every movement of every teeny leg of it's and he wasn't so sure how that made him feel. It was kind of creepy but at the same time, cool.

[Briarpaw]

Briarkit watched the spider crawl onto his paw. She smiled slightly but then her expression changed back to normal. "It tickles, right?" She murmured before eying the web the spider had made.

[Jaguarpaw]

Jaguarpaw gave a slow nod and felt as if he should hand the spider back over. "You want it back?" He asked, trying not to sound off while putting on a brave face.

[Briarpaw]

Briarkit shrugged.

"Just place it back onto it's web. We shouldn't disturb it more. It has a life of it's own so we shouldn't interfere." 

[Jaguarpaw]

Jaguar quickly put it back onto the web and looked over at her. "You like all bugs or just spiders?" He asked. She didn't seem to fazed by the creature, at least not as much as he was.
