Jaguarpaw knew that both his friend Firepaw and himself were finally apprentices. It seemed odd, their conversation they had the other day and Jay was confused about a few things that he really couldn't explain himself. "Firepaw? You in here?" He called from outside the den and turned around, wondering if she made it to the apprentices den all right. He'd go and find her if necessary and help her get back. After all, she was a friend of his so why not?

Firepaw was so happy. She was now an apprentice, snuggling and curling herself into a ball inside of the apprentices den. Her ears perked up, but her eyes still closed when she heard her name being called. 'I recognise this voice...' Firepaw strained her eyes open to see that it was Jaguarpaw. Her eyes widened, she turned her face away and blushed. 'My CRUSH!' She got up to her paws and padded out the apprentices den. Firepaw took a deep breath. "Hi! Is there anything you want?"

Jaguarpaw was extremely surprised by her excitement towards him. Was it really that good to see him? He was thinking about shaking his head as he wasn't really sure what made her so excited to see him but at the same time he stopped himself. Jaguarpaw new she had feelings for him so it was a bit more of what happens now kind of thing? "I'm curious as to if there's anything that you want?" He didn't really know how to put it into words and wondered if she had any way of telling him.

Firepaw blushed and smiled. "Well since we're apprentices, we can go out of clan territory... right?" she wondered tilting her head to the side. She sat down next to Jaguarpaw and licking her paw innocently. "Well we also could try hunting, if that's a possibility..." Firepaw murmured.

He gave a shrug and said, "Sure we could. I don't mind going out for a hunt." Jaguarpaw wasn't exactly the best hunter but he probably wasn't the worst. There were kits in the clan too remember? He shrugged away the thought. It wasn't fun for him to compare himself to kits. He needed to be better though for the final assessment that he's heard about.
