((SOOO.... Brightpaw's punishment from Jackalstar is to clean out of the medicine den. Well, it's only half of the punishment but eheheh that's why I'm here. WELL... Technically she's also injured since this is RPed on the same day she fought with Almondfire so... She has wounds on her face, a torn ear, and long claw wounds along her side. Only one side I think tho....
EDIT: [FACEDESK] asdfghjkl; just realized if i want things to happen i should probably be tagging Honeyfur /Crowwing jeez)) Brightpaw was carrying some moss as she came into the medicine den. She was being careful, holding it awkwardly so she wouldn't bleed on the moss. Her face was still kind of... Leaking a bit. She'd never been in the medicine cat's den, so she didn't really know what to expect. The first thing that struck her was the strong scent. She wrinkled up her nose and set the fresh moss aside."Hello? Is anyone in here?" She called out, feeling like she should explain why she was here.

it's okay! since she's here to clean the den, does she also need her wounds checked, or is she okay with them?
Honeyfur was just about to head out and visit his mother until he heard someone's call. The tabby brushed himself off and rushed to the main space of the den where he found Brightpaw. As a medicine cat who didn't really have much patients, he took a lot of time remembering clanmates and their names, mainly through their days in the nursery.
"Brightpaw, you're here." Honeyfur gave the apprentice a quick look and frowned at her battle scars, but didn't address them. Maybe that was why she was actually here? "Oceanstar said that you're here to clean the den. I would have to warn you that it can smell like crowfood at times. I'll help you out too."

((Oh, she's fine with them but she's also literally still bleeding and about as dense as a brick wall. Sooo... Yeah....))
Brightpaw blinked. He knew who she was? She shrugged it off. "Er, yeah. I don't really need help, besides. It's a punishment, I should really be doing it myself." She coughed. "So... Is your nest in the back?" She asked. Then a thought occurred to her and she started wiping the blood leaking from her side on her paw.
It was counterproductive to bleed onto the floor when she was here to clean the den.

Honeyfur nodded, respecting the apprentice's decision to clean the den on her own. "Yeah, it's in the back. One's mine and the other's Greyshade, so feel free to remove both of them. I see you've got moss, and there's more if you look around some corners of the den if needed."
The medicine cat then returned his gaze to the tears. "Are you umm. . . hurt? You're bleeding. . ." Honeyfur then left the apprentice for a bit to return with himself chewing the pulp of a marigold and some cobwebs on the side. Draining some of the juice onto a leaf, the medicine cat then instructed her some directions. "Apply this onto your wounds. It's called marigold and is supposed to help with wounds and infections. I'll put cobwebs on after that so that the remedy stays intact while you clean. We can then reapply the ointment once you're done cleaning."

Brightpaw nodded. She began to move towards where Honeyfur had said the medicine cats' nests were, but then she stopped as the medicine cat brought attention to her wounds. "I'm fine." She insisted, but the medicine cat chewed up this plant thing into a juice and put it onto a leaf and gave it to her. She blinked.
"... Er, alright." She accepted the marigold juice and dabbed it onto the places on her body where she was bleeding. She didn't feel like the medicine cat should waste herbs on her... But the way he'd stated it didn't make it sound like a request.

Honeyfur watched as Brightpaw applied the ointment and once she finished, the applied the cobwebs, careful not to put too much pressure. He didn't want her to suffer more than she already was. Apprentices always made mistakes, but maybe her mistake was larger than other apprentices, but she still had time to learn compassion and other virtues that she could teach her own apprentice when that day arrived.
"I'll just inspect and get rid of disposable herbs while you clean. But in case you want someone to talk to, I'm always open ears."

Brightpaw stayed still as Honeyfur wrapped the cobwebs about her wounds. She noticed how the cobwebs stopped her from bleeding out on the floor. That was kind of interesting... Honestly, she would've thought their only use was for spiders.
She shrugged. "Thanks for the offer." She picked up the moss she'd brought in and brought it to the back. She began to get to work stripping Honeyfur's nest first or the smelly moss. She had appreciated the offer to talk to Honeyfur, but she didn't really feel as if there was much to say. She tossed the disgusting moss to the side and lined the nest with fresh moss. Then she moved onto Grayshade's nest, though she noticed it... Didn't seem like it'd been used for a while. She figured it was best to do it anyway, since Honeyfur had pointed it out. It was no problem stripping the nest as well and replacing it.
She picked up the old, filthy moss and began walking towards the medicine den's entrance. Technically Honeyfur had said he'd reapply the ointment... But he probably shouldn't waste anymore than he had on her, right?
