Swanpaw grinned at his stupid smile, bumping his shoulder playfully. "Okay, but I doubt we'll catch anything." They would probably just scare off the prey for any other warriors, but she didn't really care at the moment. Trying to hunt without the pressure of being judged by someone more experienced sounded great, and she could come in practiced next time Stormfrost wanted to hunt.

Thunderpaw padded along and sniffed the air to see if anything was out there in the first place. Squirrel?! He made sure he yelled in his head as to not scare off the prey. He started stalking the prey, his hunters position was all to wonky which made for an interesting display as he stalked forward all awkward legged and launched in the air, landing in a belly flop next to the prey, then playing whack a mole in attempt to stop it from getting away. No such luck...
He looked up at Swanpaw from where he laid with a goofy grin.

Swanpaw bit back her laughter as he slugged towards his prey, her chest bouncing in a silent fit of giggles. She walked next to him, like a normal cat, and watched as he belly flopped right beside it. Instincts took over as Swanpaw sprinted after the fleeing squirrel, diving into a bush after it, out of sight from her companion. She managed to get a hold of its tail, though she didn't expect it to turn around and bite her right on the nose. She let go with a squeal, back peddling out. "Ow." She hissed, wiggling her nose lightly. She was sure her fur was a mess of leaves and twigs, though she didn't pay any attention to it. "Stupid squirrel." She hissed.

Thunderpaw hopped up and growled at the squirrel. "Don't hurt Swanpaw!" He yelled and looked over at her nose that was bitten by the squirrel and gave it a lick to try and make it feel better but stopped quickly after he realized what he just did. What... did... I... just... do? He stared ahead of him at Swanpaw and ignored that she shared the appearance of a bush with leaves and twigs in her fur as he had something else he was paying more of his attention to. Thunderpaw didn't know how she'd react and to be honest he was left kind of motionless himself.

Swanpaw was initially amused by his reaction as he yelled at the squirrel, who very obviously couldn't understand and was already long gone. She reeled back in surprise as he sent a quick lick over her nose, eyes wide. She blinked slowly, unsure how to react. It was just a friendly lick, wasn't it? That wasn't so bad. He had only wanted to make the stinging stop, which he did. She searched his expression for a moment, noticing he felt just as surprised as she did. She wasn't exactly sure why though. She awkwardly shook out her pelt, trying to rid them of all the leaves and twigs. She managed to get most of them out, picking the rest off with her teeth. "Uhh... We should probably get back."

His pelt burned in embarrassment. How was he supposed to explain this? At least she didn't ask for an explanation from him and he just tried to push it away but it nipped at him badly. "Yeah we ... should head back." His voice cracked as he talked to Swanpaw and he cleared his throat, trying not to make things worse on him. "Do you want to go talk to the medicine cat about that?" He asked, trying to ignore what had happened and focus more on her nose. It should be fine, he thought and started walking towards camp, wondering if it would be the most awkward and quiet walk of his life.

Swanpaw turned, heading back for the camp. Going into the territory alone with him was a mistake, in one way or another. She cringed as his voice cracked, obviously he was embarrassed. She didn't mean to make him feel that way, but he shouldn't have done that. "No, there's no point. Its just a scratch." She shrugged it off, keeping her distance from him. She walked in silence for the rest of the way, staring straight ahead. Once they arrived in camp she murmured a goodbye, heading the opposite way of him.
