The scent of herbs so close to her nose did not bother Anemonemist in the slightest. In fact, she was so used to the sharp tangs or foul stenches of the medicine den and it's products, it was hard to find anything that truly revolted the she-cat anymore.
With very gentle care, the plants in her jaws were carried off until Anemonemist had reached her target. Clove was settled in a secluded corner of camp, relaxing in the warmth of sunhigh's light and enjoying the early winds of new-leaf. Anemonemist set down her herbs down at her own paws, giving the RockClanner a stern stare. She was not having another Brackensky incident.
"Check-up time," Anemonemist murmured. She blew out a sigh of relief when Clove didn't appear to be checking for any escape routes, even though the medicine cat had only been standing there for three seconds. "And please just sit there and accept it. I don't want to report disobedience to Cloverstar."
Even though she still had yet to report Brackensky, out of spite of even uttering that queen's name. Tch. Anemonemist was fine with just glowering from afar at that thing.
"So, how is your sleep schedule?"

Clove settling in a quite spot of the camp was hoping to avoid any and all conversation. Her mind was else where, and a troubled look played her expression. Of course her thoughts and facial features shifted as she was interrupted by a feline she felt was particularity interesting. "I didn't plan on being a kit so I shall sit and take your guidance" she said as a smile claimed her muzzle had an adult not been able to handle a few smells and prods? She blinked for a moment then realized why she was here, "Still close to nothing." She said with an wide eyed look. Her optics were hinting little sleep with pinkish hues and her pelt had grown dull from her lack of sleep and eating. "Though I felt tried after your poppy seed trick my body wouldn't sleep.." she paused "Does that make sense?"

Anemonemist sighed as she was told this information. "So, did the goldenrod and feverfew do nothing for you?" she growled. The healer had been hoping the poppy seed would have done the trick. Maybe she should have given her more? Like... twenty? That would have knocked Clove out. Though, Cloverstar probably wouldn't be too happy to know one of her warriors wasn't going to wake up again.
"Sigh... what's keeping you up, then?"

She blinked a few times the strange names bounced from one ear to out the other, "I'm still awake so no?" She sat up straighter but was met by a chorus of complaints from her tired body. When she was given a new question she thought about lying regardless if this cat was here to help it wasn't something she liked to speak of lightly. Looking around as if anyone could be listening to her words she whispered. "Nightmares..." she sat there with a small shake of fear. Something a deathclan cat wasn't accustomed to.

Her eyes narrowed with boredom at the simple response. Yeah. That was a waste of herbs. But it wasn't like anyone else was using them... and it did leave more room in the storage area.
When Clove finally revealed the truth, her ears prickled a little with interest, but eyes were still dull. And not dull just because they werr genetically misty. Anemonemist was still annoyed with this problem.
"Nightmares." she drawled, giving a yawn a moment later. That explained a lot. "Do the nightmares keep waking you up, or do you just refuse to sleep because of them?"

She felt a bit uncertain as the feline seemed to be less than excited by cloves case. She snorted quietly before thinking about the question. "I would have to say Both. It kept me up to the point that sleep seemed silly to waste time on... and thinking about it makes me never want to sleep again..." She let out a heavy sigh. "I know that sleep is important... I just..." she grumbled she was mad with her self for this issue and didn't want Anemonemist to be annoyed as well after all she would have to get in line. "Is there anything you and your magic leafs can do, or shall I work it out on my own?" she didn't wish to sound mean but it came out kind of blunt the look in her tired optics did show she was sorry.

Anemonemist was quiet as Clove rambled about the nightmares. It was very disappointing to learn that she couldn't just shove a few leaves or berries down Clove's throat and be done with the whole situation, but it is what it is. Clove had nightmares, and as the medicine cat, it was Anemonemist's job to deal with them. And, perhaps, out of a slight obligation to free this warrior of this burden. Out of loyalty. N-not friendship.
"Not really," the healer mused after a few moments of silence. She looked away, as if eyeing the clouds for some sort of sign of how to deal with this. And then her misty blue eyes were back to Clove's line of sight. "I could give you some ragwort or chervil root, but I don't think those would work very well for you. The best herb to use is poppy seeds. Taking more than two is bad for you, though, so I'm afraid my 'magic leaves' can't do much."
It was quiet again as Anemonemist pondered what more to say, and was allowing Clove to consider everything she'd just said. Hopefully the mention of herb names hadn't clicked the warrior's mind off to stop comprehending the rest.
Softly, the healer began to speak again. "The role of a medicine cat isn't just to heal our Clanmates. We are also there to offer mental support as well. I may not be able to give you something medical wise to help, but perhaps talking about your nightmares will get them off your chest and work? It might be good to at least try it." After a second, she added, "I'm still giving you two poppy seeds for tonight, too."

She listened as the cat rattled off names that didn't even register in her warrior brain. Though she did for the herbologists sake try to seem alert and follow till she seemed done... She thought the words over and flicked her half shredded ear. "Well thank you for listening to all my whining." She was about to pad away but was instead met with some very interesting information. She blinked slowly. "I see... It might be the role of a medicean cat. However, Anemonemist... is it something you would do out side of duty? Perhaps if we were more than paciant and healer I would feel confterble sharing. But it's fine, I will take your solutions till something works in the meantime." She said starting to think deeply in thought. She gave a small nod as she was told she would take two more of those rather useless seeds.
