Swanbreeze Swanbreeze felt scared, but that wasn't uncommon. She missed her biological mother and father, despite meeting them briefly. The black and white cat missed the fact that they weren't the only two FireClan cats that came to the border, so she tried to visit them, anyway. "M.. mom?" The apprentice sized warrior smelt FireClan for sure, but she couldn't catch a scent of either feline. Thinking every FireClan cat smelt the same, she wasn't aware that anyone else was there.

Floodgaze had been trying to soak up as much sun as possible, though the wind was still bitterly cold. The short-furred she-cat rose to her paws as fresh Treeclan scent blew in, and not from the border. Her nose wrinkling warily, Floodgaze rose to her paws and peered over the side of the rock, lowering herself into a crouch.
The she-cat she saw faintly resembled her own fur, but that was about where their similarities ended, it seemed. Her mouth opened in a smirk of contempt at the quiet voice that hit her ears. "I very much doubt it," she replied snarkily, bunching her haunches. The warrior leaped, landing on her side of the border. "Careful where you tread. You're aware this is a border, right?"

Swanbreeze Swanbreeze decided she wasn't getting any luck, and was about to turn back. But something didn't seem normal with the usual FireClan scent. it almost stung her nose, and she realized too late. The small warrior watched as a FireClan warrior leaped closer."W-wa!" she yelled, attempting to run away, but only tripping over her own legs. Swanbreeze was shaking violently our of fear, she never met any other FireClan cats, besides the two that she was related to. She might be related to me... she tried to think hopefully.

Floodgaze cocked her head, suitably confused as the warrior scurried away from her and managed to trip over her own paws. She hadn't made herself look too threatening at all, and she'd never really considered herself intimidating. Apparently she was though, because the Treeclan warrior was seemingly quaking in her fur.
Feeling that attacking her would be too cruel considering how cowardly the Treeclanner seemed, Floodgaze sat down with heavy confusion. "You're not much of a warrior, huh?"

Swanbreeze The tiny she-cat quivered less, watching the other feline sit down. She got to her feet, but stayed rather still, despite the occasional shiver. "I.. uh." she whispered, attempting to answer, but she lowered her head silently, wishing someone she knew would come from either side of the border to help her.
