"Wouldn't it be nice to live up there. Away from everybody. What a lucky guy." The feline muttered to himself as he circled around the sky tree. He looked up, noticing the tree looked like a rather hard climb. "I don't think I'm built for such a thing." He snorted, shaking his head. TreeClan.. What a Clan. Climbing? What a choice he had made. Of all four Clans he'd chosen the one who dealt the most with heights. Palewolf had decided to go hunting today but had gotten sidetracked by finding some sort of giant tree. He'd heard rumors of it yet didn't take any opportunity to visit it himself. "One fall from up there and you'd either die or be as flat as a stepped on mouse." He muttered to himself. Arrowstar

Arrowstar had been checking borders as well as hunting for food. Checking borders was a specialty of his, but he decided that the food pile was getting low and perhaps hunting would take some stress off his mind. But, he ran into a problem once he reached the Sky Tree.
Oh great. It's that cat, Palewolf. Why did I let him join when he's Fallenstar's son? Ugh... The leader pondered whether to just leave or not, but he decided to speak.
"You're not wrong."

Palewolf heard a voice and he rolled his eyes before turning around to face Arrowstar with a smile you could easily tell was fake. "Oh hey it's... you.." His voice tried to sound enthusiastic but it trailed off into a more or less unenthusiastic tone. He was honestly surprised this guy had let him in.
"So, you following me or something?" He inquired quizzically, although it was obvious he was kidding by the sound of his voice. "Assuming you're hunting. How sad for you. Sure the last person you'd like to run into is me." He knew very well they bickered, but the fact that Palewolf was Fallenstar's son made this even more tense.

Arrowstar just gave him a stare back, not bothering to react. His eyes rolled at his first comment, though. "Like I'd want to," the gray-brown tom said blankly.
His amber eyes narrowed slightly. Sad? Whatever. "You're not wrong... again," the leader replied, walking around him. "I'm assuming you're doing the same. Even though you're probably gonna say no, do you want to join me?" At least he should be somewhat polite right?
Tragic.

"Oh sure you would." It was more teasing if anything. He knew the two of them didn't exactly see eye to eye and he was oddly fine with that.
He raised a 'brow' when the leader agreed with him. "Wow guess I've got a knack for being right today then." He said almost plainly in a bit of a monotone voice. Curious at the invite he tilted his head. "An invite from the leader? I'm quivering in my paws at the honor of such an invite." He padded over to the other cat. "Just kidding. Sure. Did that answer surprise you?" Unlike most cats here Palewolf didn't see this guy much differently than he saw anyone else. Maybe he was making too much of a joke of it.
"Let's go." He seemed to calm his teasing and beckoned the cat forward.

The tom snorted. "Did I say like I wanted to? I meant that I always want to follow you and see you every single moment of every single day!" he said in a mocking cheerfulness, snorting once he finished.
"Don't get used to it," Arrowstar replied. He stood, not bothered by his sarcasm. But, he was surprised at his response. "No," he lied. "I knew you'd want to be with me." Two could play at this game.
But seriousness seemed to take over as Palewolf indicated for them to leave. He walked forward, looking around the tree. "This is usually a good spot for prey," he meowed.

"Of course. You just adore my company." He grinned. His tone was mimicking the mocking voice Arrowstar had towards him. "Haha, sure, you just knew I'd come crawling your way." He rolled his eyes almost playfully. While he could bicker with others he also had a side of him where he was willing to be a bit more playful and teasing, not meaning to actually wound the other with verbal insults.
"Wouldn't know myself to be honest. This Clan territory, the way you cats hunt alone, baffles me."

"And don't lie and say you don't enjoy mine," Arrowstar shot back at him with a smug look. "Of course. Who wouldn't?" He was like an annoying flea sometimes, just poking at him repeatedly. But Arrowstar didn't mind being a flea himself.
"It's quite simple. Squirrels you hunt in twos in general. It's easier that way. Hunting mice and voles are the same as usual. And birds, you can climb up and catch."

"Oh how could I lie to little old you." He rolled his eyes with a small snort, however he smiled to himself. Palewolf knew well how to be a bit of a bug towards the leader. He was quick to assume most people found him hard to tolerate and be around but maybe he did that because he liked being alone.
"Heights.. Meh.. I still don't understand why you tree climbers like heights so much. I'm not opposed to them but I don't quite favor them." Truthfully he wasn't a huge fan of heights.

Arrowstar gave the tom a small sneer, turning his head and rolling his eyes slightly. The gray-brown tom sniffed the air, not really catching scent near here, so he indicated to Palewolf to move away.
"They're not bad. They're actually really soothing. You can just lounge on a branch whenever and get the best sun or shade," the leader replied, tilting his head.
