Falconkit's whiskers twitched, amused. "Right, and whose gonna make me leave?" he quirked a brow, "you?" Falconkit was a big, bulky tom, and would likely grow bigger and bulkier as he aged. He was defiantly his father's son, although their pelts didn't match both he and Cloudspirit were stout and had and heir of power about them. He found image of Mothkit trying to drag him out of camp rather funny. He wasn't able to stifle his laughter at the tabby's sarcastic retort. "Is it that obvious?" he mewed, still grinning--although he began to slip back into his usual stoic expression as he realized how much emotion he had been showing. It felt to personal to be this expressive around cats he didn't know that well, although he couldn't deny that he was having a pleasant time. Falconkit turned his ears towards the newcomer as Mothkit began speaking to her. I guess she just missed introductions, he thought, deciding to pipe up with his own name. "Falconkit," he mewed a rather blunt introduction, dipping his head a bit per formality.

"don't tempt me," mothkit said, in all seriousness. a chuckle escaped, ruining the act. "oh, no, i'm just smart." she turned to ivykit, having expected her sister to have said something by now, and was taken aback at the expression on her face. she seemed tense... no, angry, tail stiff around her, not finding the conversation amusing at all. her brow furrowed, and her own tail twitched as she opened her mouth, not quite sure what to say.
if she brought it up, that would just make things worse, but it didn't feel right to just sit there and laugh when her sister was so obviously offended. "ivykit?" mothkit said finally, in as quiet as voice as she could manage. falconkit and echokit probably noticed too, anyway, she reasoned, but she did feel a little guilty. she glanced down at her paws, suddenly subdued as she waited for a response.

"Yes?" She narrowed her pale green orbs. In all honesty, she hadn't heard that the other cat was introducing herself, but she also didn't bother to check. Her ears twitched and she decided it'd be easier to just introduce herself rather than sitting there like a cat in a storm. "Ivykit." The shekit hissed, barely trying to hide her obvious rage. "And you are?" Ivykit let her tone raise to a more high-pitched growl- at least more like her friendly voice.

Echokit turned, now letting her attention fall onto the she-kit Mothkit pointed out, was Ivykit. She recognized her, actually. Back when Shiningpaw had come to the nursery to clean the nests, Ivykit had stumbled over and joined their conversation. Echokit had thought the two of them were friends, or at least friendly acquaintances. But... was that anger directed at her?
The white kitten blinked, her gaze wavering as she wondered just what she'd done wrong. Had she interrupted the conversation while Ivykit was talking? Maybe Ivykit just hated Echokit personally, so simply coming over was the first mistake she had made. Echokit sighed, now raising her head to meet the angry she-kit's eyes. "I'm Echokit. We met before, remember, Ivykit? When Shiningpaw had changed the bedding?" she offered softly, hope shimmering in her dark blue eyes.

Her ear twitched and she recognized the other kit momentarily. "Oh." The shekit perked her ears up half-way so they were awkwardly angled on her head. "I seemed to have forgot," It had been a while since they had last spoke, which was before Ivykit developed her significant hostility. She nodded once in greeting and flinched briefly, expecting someone to scold her for her aggression.
