Stripes and All(P)

[Icypaw]

Icypaw goofed around in the apprentice den, with little to do
she found amusement playing with her self and the small bit of
moss she was extracting from her bed. Before long even that
grew to be a less amusing activity looking around she kind of wanted
to get out for a walk or even a hunt but of course some company would
make that much better. She scanned the felines bustling about in the
camp, and spotted her victim. She purred as she bounded to his side,
"Want to go for a hunt?"

    Tigerpaw was.. really spacing out. In the middle of camp, he was placed sitting down, staring at the entrance, almost as if he was waiting for something to happen. He was startled by an old friend of his, and welcomed her with a large smile, "Icypaw? Sure! Sounds fun."

She beamed as he agreed to join her, "YAS!" with a loud purr
she skipped ahead and looked over her shoulder. "Dang you've
grow, can you please be young and tiny again" she smiled, "I
kinda miss little tiger, did you eat him is that how you got
so big" she wore a wide smile and paused to take a breath after
having realized she had been rambling on quite a bit.

    Tigerpaw shrugged, "You've grown, also!" The tabby blinked a few times before following after. "I'm not sure how being small again will work."

She smiled and allowed her paws to take the lead.
She giggled as he mentioned her own growth true
enough her small limbs had lengthen out and her
small fluffy kit fur had been replaced with the long
silky strands she carried now. "True, I heard your
being trained by that Deathclan cat I bet she would
eat you if you were tiny tiger. So I guess it's a good
thing you've gotten so big!" She mused, over the idea for
a moment. "So how have you been? hows training?"

    Tigerpaw gave a small chuckle, "She's not mean, but she knows how to teach me.. Especially fighting!" The tom hesitated, "Training has been going well, I'm excited to be almost a warrior."

She purred, "That's great!" Moving forward she smiled up at the
nature around them. Faint wind promised warm weather, and maybe
even rain. Smiling she looked back at him. "You're going to make a
great warrior" she said with a genuine smile. Beaming warmly at him
she tilted her, "What do you think it will be like being a warrior.
I mean... Will we still be friends you think?" She didn't mean much
by it but she had seen lots of cats change when they moved on.. It made
her sad, since her mentor wasn't around a ton she hadn't had the chance
to train as much as some of the others.

    Tigerpaw smiled slightly, hoping that he was going to become a great warrior. "I hope it's still fun, and not as hard-looking as it seems." He then shook his head, "Well, of course we'd have to still be friends, like.. look at when we've met!"

She took that point into consideration as well. "I'm sure its not terrible,
I mean why would everyone want to be a warrior if there isn't anything
but chores and babysitting." She purred amused. "It will be great, just you
wait" She flicked her long-furred tail with delight at the thought of becoming
a warrior. "Well I'm glad to hear it," she said with smile widening.

    Tigerpaw yawned, "Yea, we can hunt and patrol, whenever we want!" The tom blinked a few times, "Also, no ticks or cleaning..."

She nodded amused. "I don't think I will miss either of those very much"
Smiling brightly she flicked her fluffy ears. Scanning the scenery surrounding
them she beamed at the lovely sight. Her smile faltered slightly... "Hey... Tiger
do you think our new home will be like this.... I don't want to leave" she said
softly though her eyes lined with sadness .

She wasn't so certain but was happy to see him think so positively.
Flicking her tail back and forth she nodded slowly. "It might be fun
to adventure... I just think I'm going to miss RockClan... I mean
this is what makes us. Us. Do you get what I mean?" She watched
his face for any reaction he might have. She took a moment to glance at
the rocky outline of the mountains that made Rockclan Rockclan.

    Tigerpaw frowned a bit, "As long as RockClan is still RockClan, that should be fine?" he mewed. "We just got to stick together, and we'll still be us."

so firm on the whole situation as he was. She nodded "Well
I guess we will just have to stay strong for our family"
She smiled thinking of Rockclan as her entire family amused
her as did the idea of staying with them. Flicking her fluffy
black and silver ears she purred. "When did you get so deep and wise?"
