There was a strange twinkle in Crystalbird's eyes as she tilted her, her smile seeming almost dangerous. "Now... Why would you think I'd tell you that?" She asked in a perfectly calm tone of voice.

Crystalbird's expression and demeanor seemed to return to normal. "Hm... Interesting." She found it interesting that despite the prickliness towards outsiders... They seemed to accept outsiders into the high ranking positions rather swiftly.

Snowwhisper changed the subject completely subjectively and randomly. "Do you like rabbits?" she relished how random it was after she said it, but she had already said it.

Snowwhisper shrugged. "I guess. They're big though, so you only want to eat them when your hungry. I think fish are better for small snacks."

Crystalbird wondered what kind of world Snowwhisper lived in, feeling like she could pass up a big meal in favor for something smaller. Tch. She hummed in response. "I suppose so."

"What about squirrels? We don't get many over here, but treeclan gets a lot? Why hunt them if the fur just gets stuck in your teeth?" she asked, wrinkling her nose.

Crystalbird lifted a fictional eyebrow. "Hm. I'd say a fair amount of Treeclanners would ask you why you'd catch fish if they're more liable to slip out of your grasp, more often than not." She countered.

Snowwhisper shrugged. "Being lazy in some areas leaves us to focus more on others. I say other clans are stupid for not hunting them because they dislike the taste." she had no idea why she was talking about fish. She personally hated them. She ate them when she had to, but caught her own mice and voles whenever she got the chance.

Crystalbird lifted a fictional eyebrow. "Well, aren't we quite the presumptuous one...?" She deadpanned. She sighed. "Treeclan hasn't any access to any sources of water that contain fish bigger than minnows. Which are tiny, and are fit for a snack for a small kit perhaps." She drawled. "They're not exactly a profitable source of prey for us. Treeclan is not Iceclan, except flatter and greener."

"Not talking about treeclan. Rockclan's border with us is a huge river, and they bother to go as low as lizards." she shook her head. "I don't like fish, but it's a worthy prey source. And they don't run away if you hunt them properly."
