As evening approached, a golden apprentice padded silently into the Elder's Den. She hoped that everyone would be awake at this time, she definitely did not want to wake any sleeping elders. She moved as quietly as possible, just in case. Her mouth was full of fresh moss, and also a small mouse.
She silently laid the moss and prey on the floor, and got to work. She scraped out the old moss from the first nest she saw, then quickly replaced it with the new. Shiningpaw spread the moss evenly, making sure not to leave any bumpy spots. Lastly, the apprentice picked up the mouse and laid it down in front of the nest. She didn't see or smell anyone, but she left the mouse in hopes of befriending whichever elder received the mouse.
ooc; I'm sorry for further clogging your den with cleaning posts. lolol

Lilybarb growled as yet another apprentice traipsed into his den. He would have to complain to Oceanstar about all the young ones with too much free time. He stood, back fur arching in contempt. "How many times are you going to clean my nest!?" He demanded. "I'm not that filthy that I need nursemaids every day. He glanced down at the nest, at least thankful she had done better than the last apprentice who had come in with moss all over his fur. And she'd brought him a mouse. "What is your name?"

Shiningpaw jumped, surprised she hadn't noticed Lilybarb. She narrowed her eyes, fighting back the urge to say something snarky to the older tom. She quickly remembered that this cat was her Elder, who had earned the respect of the Clan. She cleared her throat, and tried to stand tall.
"I thought you might be hungry," she said softly, looking at her paws. She had really wanted to make a good first impression, but it didn't seem likely at this point. "I'm Shiningpaw."
