Rosekit made her way into the depths of the territory, tracking a rabbit down. She had decided to practice her new skills and had decided to catch 3 pieces of prey and then would work on fighting. Her eyes widened slightly as she saw another cat, but greeted them with a wave of her tail before crouching down, catching the rabbit carefully and successfully. She then turned to acctually agknowledge the other cat.

Firepaw padded through the tall grass plains. She heard some other cat hunting here. 'I should go see who it is...' she thought, 'It might be an intruder from another clan.' She stalked towards the cat that was hunting. "Hey! Who are you!" Then she realised that it was another apprentice from Fireclan, "Oh sorry... I thought you were an intruder from another clan or something..."

Firepaw looked around the plains. "Well I'll try hunting rabbit..." she said, "What are you gonna hunt?"

Rosepaw shrugged. "Rabbits are easiest to find. I was planning on catching two more peices of prey and then start practicing fightning."

Firepaw nodded. "Well okay! I'll try catching rabbit too." she said, crouching down. She bounded away into the grass. She crouched down and spotted a rabbit, leaping and chasing after it. She padded back confidently towards Rosepaw, holding a rabbit between her jaws. "See! I told you I could catch one fast and easily!"

Rosepaw nodded with a small smile then motioned to the pile as she caught her own, just as easily, and put it with the others.

Firepaw looked amazed as she caught it easily. "Wow! You're a good hunter, like me!" she said, nodding in approval, "So I'm trying to make more friends in Fireclan, so can you be one of them?" Firepaw tilted her head towards Rosepaw, waiting for some response.

Rosepaw tilted her head. "Sure." she responded after a moment. "Wanna practice fighting now?"

Firepaw thought about it. "Fighting? All right!" she said, jumping into a crouch, "You start the fight."

Rosepaw nodded and struck out with a paw before dashing back. It reminded her a little bit of playing as a kit, and that was how she would automatically start a fight.

Firepaw let Rosepaw hit her. After she got hit, Firepaw leaped behind Rosepaw and attempted to dive towards her and pin her to the ground.

Rosepaw was slightly shocked by the sudden action and the move got her. That would she something she would have to practice on her own, reaction time.
