Fangshadow blinked and his heavy lidded eyes slowly started to close. He sighed letting out the stress of the day and settling into a much needed sleep. He wasn't to happy to awak to a misty dream. He had, had enough of these to know it's a middle land of cloudclan and his own place... an area that allowed the living and dead to communicate. He grumbled feeling irritation. "Skywing I'm not in the mood! So go bother someone who car-" he stopped short of his retort when he came face to face with a white and black she-cat... He jumped back, "Who-" he tilted this head, "FireLight?" he gasped. He had met her once... she had been an old friend of crowwings what was she doing here?

Well, this was embarrassing...
Mid-lick, Firelight looked up to see another feline greeting her. She squinted at him.
"Who are you? You're not from CloudClan, are you? I mean, you certainly don't look dead."
She raised a brow at him and tilted her head, confusion spreading wildly across her face. This was a thing? Being dream-invaded? Was this CloudClan's idea of a joke?
I thought CloudClan was all about eternal sleep. Guess there was more to it than she had initially thought.
She sniffed curiously, but, as it was a dream, couldn't identify the origins of the cat. But, still, he looked vaguely familiar.
"Yes, I am Firelight," she said blankly. "But who are you?

He studied her with a look of uncertainty maybe he was crazy? He sat down trying to make sense of all of this after all he could see she hadn't meant for him to be here... she didn't even know who he was! He in-took a shaky breath... he blinked confused and stopped in the action... weird he had never noticed it but he didn't actually have to breath here? He sat there quiet for a moment and marveled at the fact that his lungs didn't plea for air in this dream state. "Oh yes sorry, FangShadow. Errm we met once but it was a very long time ago.. and umm you were alive then..." he gave her a puzzled look "You are dead right?" he meant no offense he was just so stunned to see some one other than his annoyance of a father here. |

"Yes," she stated, matter-of-factly, "I am dead. Thank you for noticing."
Her eyes got squintier.
"Well, I don't remember you, but we're here now, so there must be a reason."
Was there? Or was CloudClan on one today?
"So, would you happen to know that reason? Do you need an epiphany of some sorts? A revelation? I can give you your nightly fortune, too, if that's what you want," she sneered. Firelight had been awfully temperamental in life, and while she had vowed to be grumpy no more, she had also found herself grumpy no less, either.

He chuckled as she gave him a deadpanned expression. "Okay now that, that's out of the way." Sighing he flicked his long furred tail.... a reason? as far as he new these little visits were usually unpleasant mistakes. "I don't believe I have anything in life that needs such an able minds attention." He chuckled feeling more like him self, "Oooo a fortune please do tell. What does my future hold let me guess a great nights rest followed by a bounteous hunt." |
