SnowwhisperMelodysong strode into the medicine cat den for the first time in moons. She wasn't often sick, but today she had the strange case of what appeared to be an unfunctioning nose. "Snowwhisker?" She called out once she arrived. "Are you there?"

Snowwhisper had been in the back of the medicine cats den when she heard the call of another cat. She frowned as she made her way over. Cats hadn't really had injuries in a long while, so she was a bit surprised to acctually see a warrior. "Im here. What seems to be the issue?"

"I think my nose is broken," said Melodysong. "It stopped working. I can't smell very well," she explained to the apprentice. She didn't know much about being sick, but she figured her friend did. After all, Melody had been too busy taking care of her kits since then.

Snowwhisper thought for a moment. "First, do you have a fever?" she asked, tilting her head. It was a possibility that the poor cats nose was swollen, but she wasn't sure what else could be going on.

Melodysong shrugged in the way that only cats can. "I don't know." She said. "Isn't that your job to figure out?" She asked bluntly.

Snowwhisper flicked her tail in irritation. Melodysong was like a sister to her, and the loved the older cat, but man could she be annoying. "Melody," she said sternly, "You of all cats can tell if you have a fever. And that's because all cats can," she said, flicking her tail once again as she turned around, allowing it to brush against Melody's forehead as she did so. Fever? Yes. Let's see... "Stay," she said, casting a glance directly at the nose to see if it was swollen before making her way back to where the herbs were stored, inspecting each herb. She would need one for fever, colds, and preferably swelling... She quickly grabbed Stinging Nettle for the swelling and Lavender for the fever. Catnip would be preferable for the cold, so she grabbed a little as a second thought before heading back to Melodysong. "First, are there any other issues? Shortness of breath, dizzyness, stuff like that?"
