(Alright, so I want you to please keep your post count to a 20-word-minimum! Consider part of you "training" :> If you have any questions feel free to ask me, I'm all ears <3) Aspenfang waited by the camp entrance, like she had told Blankpaw she would do. The sun was high in the sky above her. Blankpaw should he here soon, she thought to herself, the warm light from the sun making her tired. The tabby held back a yawn. I wonder why she's called "Blankpaw", Aspenfang wondered mindlessly, leaning against the camp wall.

Blankpaw woke up early to get ready for her first day of training. She had heeded her mentor's words and gotten a good nights sleep and now she was ready to actually learn to do something useful. As a kit all there had been to do was play those strange games, but now she got to learn to do things like hunt and fight. Well today she would probably just learn about the territory, but even that was useful and seemed actually fun. So she padded over to her new mentor at the exit of camp. "I'm... ready now." She stated as she stared at the older cat, waiting to hear what they would do first.

"Good," Aspenfang mewed brightly, getting into her paws and shaking herself awake, "let's head out then!" She went quickly through the entrance, stopping a few paces away from it and letting Blankpaw get her first look at FireClan's vast territory. "We'll be focusing on the border's today, although I'll take you buy a few landmarks as well. We'll be going to the TreeClan border first and skirt around the edge of the territory until we get back here. It'll be a long walk, so tell me if you need to take a breather, okay?"

Blankpaw nodded stiffly and followed Aspenfang. Her new mentor reminded Blank of her sister in a small way. She seemed very cheery at the say the least, which wasn't a bad thing by any means, but Blank wasn't exactly the same way. Still, when she entered the territory for the first time she couldn't help but look around and try to take everything in as for once she was seeing something new instead of the same old camp. She focussed back on Aspenfang as the older she-cat started speaking. "That all... sounds, interesting?" Blankpaw offered, continuing her habit of making her statements into questions by accident. She figured her mentor wouldn't mind too much.

"I hope so," Aspenfang mewed, "although you might start getting tired of my voice, I've been told I have a habit of going off on tangents," the tabby stuck out her tongue, hiding a grin. "I'll try to keep things as interesting as I can though, now, let's get moving!" she began to walk to the left, along a well trod path, beckoning Blankpaw to follow. "We'll be heading to the the TreeClan border first. What've you learned about TreeClan so far?" Aspenfang often asked her apprentices questions while they were training, she believed that it helped them to remember things better when they had a chance to repeat them verbally. Plus it kept them on their toes, and gave her a chance to assess the knowledge they've acquired.

Blankpaw nodded once again, showing that she understood what Aspenfang was saying. If she got tired in any way then she would probably voice her thoughts, but at this moment she was just ready to finally be doing something important and learn about the other clans that she may one day face in a battle. The question of Treeclan came up and Blankpaw's ears perked slightly. "I suppose Treeclan... cats, are good... at climbing." She stated slowly. That was really all she truly knew about the clan. She had never exactly thought about the other clans too critically since she had always figured that she would learn about it during training. She probably should have talked to a few warriors about it before now.

Aspenfang smiled encouragingly, nodding at her apprentice's words, "yup, it's their clans special talent. Being good climbers also means that TreeClan cats are especially nimble--most learn to hop from tree branch to tree branch like squirrel's before they're even apprentices! But, lucky for us, they live in a territory that's basically all foliage. They don't really know how to fight in large, open areas like this," the tabby gestured with her tail towards the FireClan territory surrounding them, "not that you have to worry about fighting anytime soon. For now there is a peace between all four clans," Aspenfang smiled at this. When she was young TreeClan was fighting with DeathClan, and there were various other squabbles going on along the borders. Now things were quiet, which eased her mind. "You should also note that their leader is a tom named Arrowstar. He's just made the rank, and appointed some cat named Crystalbird as his deputy. There's Liongrowl too, their medicine cat, and I've heard rumors that he's just taken on a new apprentice." The warrior's ears perked up as they reached the sun stones. "Ahh, look, here we are!" the russet tabby mewed brightly, picking up her pace as the brightly colored boulders came into view, "TreeClan and FireClan have been having battles over the right's to these stones for ages! Since before I was a kit, that's for sure. For now they are split between the two of us. They're a great place for sunbathing, but I don't want you out here on your own, understand?" she shot Blankpaw a warm but pointed glance, "this place is crawling with snakes, especially during green-leaf. It's not safe for an apprentice to be roaming around here on their own. If you're ever interested in coming to sun stones just tell me and I'll be happy to take you," she looked back at the sun stones, "you could as another warrior too, or even a few apprentice friend's if they're mentors are okay with it. Just don't go all on your own, snakebites are no laughing matter."
